Rich frozen custard/vanilla ice cream

Adjust recipe to your liking. This worked for me, will freeze without interfering and is easy to remember.
I used homemade powdered cane sugar in this video for extra flavor. Easy to make using a cheap electric coffee grinder.
If you find this recipe too rich, add 1 part evaporated milk or ½ part regular milk, or play around with it. Just remember that regular milk adds more water and too much water will form ice crystals. You could add more sugar or break the ice crystals every hour or so until soft serve. Or use an ice cream maker.
Pastry cream is easy to make, even using the microwave oven. It's on my channel too.
