Jesus, i just did the warmup on my knees because I don't have a drum or a pad here, and I just had to stop at the flames at 150😅. I will definitely do that more often though👍🏻.
As an intermediate drummer with much yet to learn, I love your videos. I’m also a language teacher and, as such, I’m fascinated by your flawless English. How do you master English so well?
Thanks you for your kind words! In Sweden, we start learning English in second grade, and unlike other European countries like Spain, Germany or Italy - we seldom dub English/American tv-shows or movies. So we're constantly bombarded by the English language :) I also have an uncle by marriage from New Zealand whom I've spoken English too for a long time, and I lived in Los Angeles for 3 years.
5-10 minutes is usually enough, and 4 hours before a show is a bit early. Your body will “cool off” during that time so try to warm up about 20mins before you go on stage.
You can actually apply this to your feet, if you have double pedals! But you can check out my lesson on bass drum technique, which works great as a workout as well: ua-cam.com/video/6KdtF98y9Ew/v-deo.htmlsi=OJxU2K1awxm9s1lx

How much time is crucial warm up time before the gig? Is warming up 4 hours before gig okay?
5-10 minutes is usually enough, and 4 hours before a show is a bit early. Your body will “cool off” during that time so try to warm up about 20mins before you go on stage.

Shout out to Floridians! 😂
My flams sucks at 150
Thank u)
Work your way up by gradually increase the tempo! You don't need to jump from 100 to 150 if it's too fast. Try 120 instead maybe 😃
