Some 10/10 are Tusan leather, Tobacco Vanille, Plum Japonise all from Tom Ford yes i see them as nishe, Green irish tweed, Interlude man, Intense cafe, dior Oud ispahan, ambre niut, spice blend, xerjoff more than words, byredo pulp and there are more and more out there :)

I started to put Naxos in this list, but I had a hard time picking what I did. In all honesty, this could have easily been a 20 10/10, but I recently pushed my summer niche list to 20 & some people complained that I didn't say enough about each fragrance. Had I went into more detail, the video would have ran 30 mins & people would fuss that it was too long! 🤣 It's a delicate balancing act, but the vast majority of the feedback is positive! I really enjoyed your video and this list, especially your evolution with Grand Soir and your take on Nishane. 10/10s for me: Niche - Grand Soir and Elysium for sure, also an older more potent version of Aventus, and Reflection Man; Designer - Bleu de Chanel (EDP/Parfum) and Dior Homme (the older, stronger EDT, the Intense,and especially the Parfum). I sometimes wear the Parfum in the summer time at home, just for the scent.

Johnny! 🍀 I can't speak on that Armaf, but they generally do a good job with their clones. The GIT from them is as good of one I've ever smelled. I heard that the M.I. one is even better. I'm not the biggest fan of clones, but at least you get better quality oils & a nicer presentation with Armaf. Appreciate you broski and hope you have a happy 4th
Hey Javon! I have always had really good luck with SMW performance, at least a solid 9 hrs or more. I haven't tried any recent formulations, so I don't know for sure if there's any known issues with it. Hey Chris. Jubi isn't exactly a "mass appealing" fragrance. It's either something people love, hate, or have to acquire a taste for. If you're not used to oud fragrances with rose, it may just not something you care for. With that said, there's always gonna be someone scamming people. It's possible you got something that was bunk. Did you buy from a credible source?

Okay great man! They have a good reputation, so it probably just isn't a fragrance that works for you. There's fragrances that I didn't like in the beginning & they eventually grew on me, and then there's just certain ones I either don't like or have allergy reactions to. YSL Y EDP is a perfect example of that. I love the way it smells in the air, but I can't wear it at all. Beach Hut Man is definitely a good one. I also like Bracken Man, Reflection Man, & Lyric Man. Interlude Man was one that I just couldn't deal with when I tried it. It's been 2 or 3 years since I've smelled it, and my pallet has evolved a lot since then. There's a chance I still may not care for it, but I might actually dig it now. I'll have to revisit that one. One thing that I do to try new things is go somewhere like Perfumology or MyFragranceSamples.com and type in "oriental" in the search engine & see what all comes up. Love silver mountain water. But the batch inconsistency struggle is real. My official sample lasted 4 to 6 hours on my skin. When I finally received my bottle I could barely smell it after 2 hours even upclose. My wife smelled absolutely nothing after 30 min. Not worth the price.
Hey Maxi! Unfortunately batch variations can be an issue because of availability of the quality of ingredients. The same way that certain years of wine are better than others, all stems from quantity & quality from the crops that produce natural ingredients. Fragrance & the prices are subjective to the consumer. Then of course you have IFA changing the legalities of certain ingredients, and of course you have companies who just skimp out on fragrances as well. I haven't personally had any problems with SMW, but I have had my bottle for quite a while. Thanks for your comment & support!

That's subjective. I've been able to buy all of mine for $100, the performance of the ones I own are way above average, and they have very nice presentations. They are worth it to me, but that is just my opinion.

They have a good reputation, so it probably just isn't a fragrance that works for you.
There's fragrances that I didn't like in the beginning & they eventually grew on me, and then there's just certain ones I either don't like or have allergy reactions to. YSL Y EDP is a perfect example of that. I love the way it smells in the air, but I can't wear it at all.
Beach Hut Man is definitely a good one. I also like Bracken Man, Reflection Man, & Lyric Man. Interlude Man was one that I just couldn't deal with when I tried it. It's been 2 or 3 years since I've smelled it, and my pallet has evolved a lot since then. There's a chance I still may not care for it, but I might actually dig it now. I'll have to revisit that one.
One thing that I do to try new things is go somewhere like Perfumology or MyFragranceSamples.com and type in "oriental" in the search engine & see what all comes up. Love silver mountain water. But the batch inconsistency struggle is real. My official sample lasted 4 to 6 hours on my skin. When I finally received my bottle I could barely smell it after 2 hours even upclose. My wife smelled absolutely nothing after 30 min. Not worth the price.

Unfortunately batch variations can be an issue because of availability of the quality of ingredients. The same way that certain years of wine are better than others, all stems from quantity & quality from the crops that produce natural ingredients.
Fragrance & the prices are subjective to the consumer.
Then of course you have IFA changing the legalities of certain ingredients, and of course you have companies who just skimp out on fragrances as well.
I haven't personally had any problems with SMW, but I have had my bottle for quite a while.

Nasomatto is way overpriced. They limit the customer to 1 fl oz bottles. The price they charge for the amount of juice they give is a RIP off.
You can get them for around $100 on discounters. That’s pretty solid for an extrait like Baraonda that will last a long time.
Opt for Mancera, you’ll get the equal quality and performance for a much cheaper price.
That's subjective. I've been able to buy all of mine for $100, the performance of the ones I own are way above average, and they have very nice presentations.
They are worth it to me, but that is just my opinion.
Mancera is a great house for sure.
