I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

Jeff you should definitely check out their blue flame performance. Kazuha, one of the japanese members, is a former ballerina and you can really see her amazing dancing in that performance, as well as everyones.

They're actually really talented vocally, one of the members being an opera singer. But as you said I believe the debut was like tease of their abilities, sound and image and I'm happy hybe didn't throw a bunch of unrelated expensive sets and clothes out of nowhere just because they can. I also really like the sound of the music, definitely a refreshing change for kpop 4th gen and girl groups in general because this was a mature concept without being too in your face with the "badass" vibe. They were subtle and firm and it showed confidence and class, it threw me off but pleasantly surprised me

Le sserafim debut title track is one of the best and most addicting songs I've heard this year so far. Despite having minor members, they all ate the whole floor dance section and hopefully soon when everyone is not a minor anymore, they'll perform the original choreo.
I totally agree that this is just a tease of what they can do. The most recent 4th gen debuts tend to showcase everything all at once, thus their new comebacks seem like they're just showing off the same vibe. I think this is a great move from source music and hybe as le sserafim still has a lot to show us in the future without them being predictable. I'm rooting for this group!
This is the best description of their debut song I ever listen. It describes it perfectly.
I think their voices will surprise us as well. They're all so distinctive already. Kazhua's rapping voice is very particular, I also find Garam's voice so warm and different from the usually idol female voice. And I saw a video of Chaewon singing on a program and her voice is angelic, really really good. Of course they also have Yujin which is an opera trained vocalist, really powerful singer.
I think this is just a teaser for the choreo and the concept. I'm sure we will have a song that will truly showcase thir singing as well.
tbh this whole not showcasing a lot is a good strategy in the long round imo... people will feel more intrigued in their next cbs WHEN they actually showcase those qualities

Actually, this group have amazing vocalist, Yunjin is an opera singer, Chaewon sing soo good too and Kazuha low tone 🔥🔥🔥
These girls did not come to play, they came to SLAY! Jeff is correct, a seraphim is a type of angel. It's a six-winged angel (and there are 6 members of the group). Also they're name is an anagram for "I'm fearless" Their company really thought this through!

Its the MV only and they show is adults and the upper & feet part .... I watched many many types of dance like ballet, street dance, etc ....dance is an art that part i see nothing wrong but if you seems inappropriate or "sexual" then ask yourself why are you the one thinking that in the first place?🐱 however when male idols do such a daring move even he's a minor many in the comments ...wow i like it
For real! I mean I am also a dancer (not professional), and moves like that are normal for us. No malice. It's an art. Only their minds think that it is sexual. It's their minds that are dirty not the choreo. (Sorry for bad grammar)

oh this confused me a bit but upon checking, ive been recording under dual mono. that was what was recommended to me. should i be doing stereo instead? 😂
@@JeffAvenue oh haha. Yeah, rhe feed from your mic is only going to one side when recording dual mono. Try stereo next time and see if it works....I get why it was recommended but I'm guessing you're not employing a post prod sound engineer to properly mix your videos in post

Personally, I really welcome this era of lower-range vocals. I had a phase where I couldn't listen to girl group songs because a lot of them bordered on these really squeaky/overly cutesy vocals. I love hearing really well-done Soprano voices - Monday from Weeekly, for example, has an amazing high range without it sounding forced. So when I heard Fearless I was absolutely sold on their sound. You can hear that they are strong vocalists but as you say, they're trying to appeal to a more global audience.
Yeah I listened to their whole album and I kept waiting for a highnote, yet none. I missed ms. Chaewon’s highnotes too bad almost all of their songs are mid tones.

@@riahlexington I think technically 3 of them are as I think Kazuha is August 2003? But that’s probably why they only did closeup shots of Yunjin, Kkura and Chaewon during that part

You definitely should watch their performance video. The choreography is fine.
I mean ofcourse there's no WOW factor since the song was just very lowkey which is hard to find now. Almost every ggs now are releasing noise music with unnecessary beat changes. i mean im so tired to hear those musics.

Many amazing dancers from different genre in that show. I think you will like it.

Ngl thats one of the strongest debuts i ve seen till now, and i ve been into kpop for quite some time. They are sooo talanted and im so exited to see them perform and come up with new stuff.
