    AS an american living in africa for the last 10 years, no one here talks about slavery, and they would die to have free education, clean water, and electricity like america

    When people say they have come from the mother land, do they remember that all the land was one big piece and then separated and people evolved. India separated from the same land mass, Ethiopia is currently separating from the African continent, tectonic plates are shifting us all the time.

    The book of the prophet Isaiah 65:17 "See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. /Second epistle of apostle Peter 3:13
    But in keeping with God's promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

    • @MrOu83

      Long - I hope not. I got my ancestry DNA results 2/1/2 weeks ago. Out of the 86% African DNA, the most is from Nigeria. But, I am still very much stuck on Ghana (only 2%). I returned from a 10-month stay there in November 2020.

    I’m sorry we are American not African our roots are so far removed. We need to build up our own community and stop looking for acceptance in others.

    • @MrOu83
      @MrOu83 3 роки тому +2

      Jordan / Speak for yourself. Perhaps you are so far removed-primarily as a result of your colonized mind-that you feel disconnected from Africa, but many of us feel a keen sense of connectedness to the Motherland. You can stay in America and continue that futile mission of building up (been talking the same BS for decades now without any tangible results); the conscientious among us will do what we need to do elsewhere.

      Eileen - Is it any different from other immigrants who come to America and primarily associate with other people from their respective countries or continents. I don’t like the idea. When I was in Ghana for 10 months recently, I lived happily lived among the locals; I rarely encountered AAs.
