The brush pen is this years gift, it comes with the main planners but not the day free. So they would’ve been for your five year and original, I think. It’s a cute gift but I personally think the not scary bear from a few years ago is much better.
Thanks for showing your haul. I had the A5 Day free this year- love the blue colour of the cover! I'm going back and forth on continuing or getting the Cousin. I don't use the weekly but I like having one dated page per day so I'm agonizing over what to buy (as usual). The Day Free was new in 2020, so 2021 will be the second year for it.
Oh, and the dancing fox flip book feature is so cute! I'm thinking of getting an A6 Day Free just to have it as an extra notebook..
I 100% understand you, the struggle is so real when it comes to deciding which planner to use because there is something amazing in each one~

I knew the day free didn’t have a weekly view. The whole point of the day free was to have a blank canvas to make the planning system your own.

The A5 size has the weekly the A6 size does not.

Hi Celena! I love your channel and your unboxings and I love Hobonichi ❤️ The mt cover is absolutely gorgeous and I really appreciated the comparison between the dated A6 and the day free A6. This year I bought a regular A5 Cousin to try for the first time and I am really excited about it. I also got the Mega Weeks which I use as an academic planner and a regular A6 Techo - which always ends up as a very very fat junk journal! 😆 I don’t know if it is sacrilegious to use it in such a way but it is fun! 👍 I can’t wait to see your next Zenpop unboxing. If you had to choose between Hobonichi and Erin Condren, which one would you go for? 🤔👍📝
That's a fantastic selection of journals! I'm editing my Zenpop unboxing for September right now :D If I had to choose, Hobonichi! I know planners like the Erin Condren are better for doing videos on, but functionally I tend to use my Hobonichi journals way more for work, or personal journaling. It's just that they aren't as pretty to share on YT, though I'm trying to work out how to change that cause I'd like to feature me using them more on my channel to show how functional they are :)
@@abeautifulfable Erin Condren is certainly aesthetically pleasing as you say. I like the petite planner on the go folio system - especially the guided goal journals. I would love to see you do Hobonichi videos because I feel that I am not using my Hobonichis to their maximum potential.. I would like to see how you use yours and pick up a few tips. I find Hobonichi is very inspiring. It is simple but so sophisticated, and it offers endless potentials. I got my ZenPop this morning. Initially I wasn’t very keen on it but it has grown on me quite a bit. I can’t wait to see what you think of it! ❤️👍☘️

The A6 cover of the pastal washi tape looks so freakin adorable! I definitely believe at the beginning of the truth, how when new planners roll out, it reminds you that the year is coming to a end and a fresh new start for us all, especially with 2020 being harsh! And people are over it! Lol 😂 -planwithlienn

Aww there's a larger 5 year planner?! I am only halfway through my small one. Been trying to use that for "what I did for that day" journal and it's been going ok.
The weeks looks good esp the cover, but am thinking about getting the cousin next, want more writing space. Will wait a few more months before making the purchase otherwise it's going to torture me to stare at it and not being able to use it yet.
It's so hard to religiously keep up with 5 year planners, but so so satisfying to flip through when you have! Let me know what you think of the cousin when you get it! On busy days I love having all the writing space~
@@abeautifulfable Yea I already found it satisfying to read through the last 2 years (mine started in 2018). I find it gives me motivation to try & fill it in for each day.
@@abeautifulfable I got the Cousin Avec & I love it! Has all I want with the months, weekly & daily pages. Planning to do future planning & daily doodles on the monthly pages (inspo from plansthatblossom), plan in the weeklys & journaling/planning/decorating in the daily pages (inspo from thecoffeemonstersco).
your M lettering looked good though :D you just have to press down to make stroke thicker on strokes that goes down like in the m :)
