Unbelievable. I saw the seam of that on your first vid and thought that looks like a secret door in the wall but I didn't post anything. Nothing wrong with my powers of observation.😉
Yeah, we saw it as well, there was too much stuff to get it all the way out so Monte just peeked behind it and saw the wire mesh. I'm glad we ended up pulling it all the way out once we had gotten more stuff cleared out.
My friend lived in a house that had similar hidden storage spaces. I went to an estate sale and the ladies running the sale didn't realize there was hidden storage space in the attic extension. They were pulling out old 1960s toys and trains the day of the sale. The guy who told them about the hidden space was buying it all up.

That used to be the way you would install in-wall cabinets or shelving. Cut a hole in the wall, and insert the shelf. It wasn’t designed to be a secret access but they worked out that way. Sometimes the back of the shelf would be in the garage or another room instead of an attic. Looked tacky

Welcome aboard! We found a bunch of them, nothing super high end but still cool. I did a video going through a batch of the ones we found. Probably a few others stowed away in boxes :)

What's your opinion on the best way to clean the dust of old boxes, toys, etc...without causing damage??
I typically use a swiffer cloth, if that doesn't work I will use a very lightly damp cloth.
