I love that the author included song references to set the scene. It's an element both Stephen King & Dean Koontz employed & lends a subtle, but decidedly more visceral & intimate nuance to the story. It's far more creepy when a jovial antagonist begins to sing &/or dance along to some jaunty or eerily somber tune. It speaks to the antagonist's obvious insanity/sociopathy/psychopathy, while letting the reader (listener) get a glimpse into just how normal the events transpiring are in his/her mind. In the immortal words of Eustace, "Ooga-booga-Ooga-booga!".

Truthfully, this is one of the worst entries in Viidith22's library. It's a meandering, nonsensical story with a loose grasp of how to construct proper plotlines and characters along with their motivations in short story form. There are wonderful stories on this channel, this unfortunately is not one of them.
