This was a great video. I agree with you, that all that milky stuff nowadays, dus not always do justice to the scenery. Looking forward to your next yourney.
Hi Stewart, that was a smashing video and your photos of Kilchurn were really good. Those compositions worked out very well indeed. I was down there a few weeks ago as I too had never photographed Kilchurn before and we spent a few days in the area and had the best of weathers, my problem was as you said, that big bloomin horrible fence they have around the castle, what a mess it looks it is certainly a good way to kill off tourism. I was also watching the way you went down to the waters edge, I watched for a while and kept my eye on a fisherman coming back up, I asked him what was best and he said to go down towards the trees as it was a lot less boggy. I followed his tracks and went down there first, then I went over to the other side where the tents were but I walked back up the way first to avoid the little burn…not totally,I did have to leap over it but managed fine. That’s when I seen you heading to go over iti was shouting at the video “don’t do it Stewart, walk back up the way a bit, it’s less dodgy”. Well you obviously didn’t hear me and you chose to do a bit of paddling lol. Great video and the light was amazing. For your shots, by the way, I think those fisherman are there all the time with their tents and their rods out but they were fine with me getting in between their fishing rods to take my photos ….thankfully hahaha. Keep producing these smashing videos,I do love them 😁👍
Absolutely stunning pictures, Stewart. Hope your car wasn't too smelly on the way home - you should've gone in your campervan, and you'd be able to wash and change. 😀
Nicely done Stewart ... one of my Fav Places can be magical if caught on a calm early morning .... not really been back since they fenced it all way round .... love the drive up to the falls as well
Some terrific images here my friend. I've shot here a few times (before that horrible orange fence was erected ) and have very similar images to yourself, you did the location proud.
Awesome, really nice location
thanks Blair
