- The pavement-pounding performance of the XO-1 is not bound by parking lots and cul-de-sacs. There’s more high-speed adventure to be had than what you might think. Trading in the parking lots and speed limit signs, things get interesting as XO-1 heads up the mountain with some sideways action across loose dirt and gravel, and even catches a little air along the way. Of course, all-wheel drive traction and the exclusive Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) keep everything under control. This is proof-positive that you can do more with the XO-1 than simply go fast in a straight line. Grab the throttle and think outside the parking lot.

don't get me wrong (I love my XO1) but this was silly... what was with those superimposed F1 sounds? hmm
Way to over-marketed there.
The XO-1 is fast. Its the fastest OEM RTR RC car I know of. But this is not really what the XO-1 is made for. A 1/8th scale buggy would have made a better run being that its basically an Indy Car 4x4. I still want to put a FPV camera on my 1/8th scale Truggy and drive around a course like I'm actually racing in the car.

Traxxas is the best rc car producer. I believe everyone should get experience with these rc. They can be really fun and make kids go outside more than staying inside. But the most important thing about sitting inside is that you grab a device, go to UA-cam and watch these amazing rcs! I been wanting one for a while and my birthday is coming soon so I can't wait to get one! I believe that anyone else that reads this comment would really be inspired to get a Traxxas rc!

I have never seen an XO-1 driven in gravelish-dirt like this. I do own one of them myself and the thing is just a beast! I love driving it and the tires are perfect for no ballooning!

+mikey the e revo is smaller than xo-1 and let the person choose if he wants to do on road or off road.

My suggestion is that this track should've been saved for a re-release of a new and improved Traxxas Rally. 😉
I currently have the newest version Slash Ultimate that I built for R.O.A.R. Racing, it uses a SSC v2.5F LCG Chassis, Castle Mamba Max Pro SCT ESC and pre-ordered the new castle Sensored 1410-3800kv motor, as well as a bunch of other upgrades, a 1/16 Mini Revo heavily build for hardcore bashing and not a shelf queen, the newest version XO-1 that is stock for now, and can't wait to order the new 8s X-Maxx once they hit the shelves. My buddy has the first gen X-Maxx and I love that thing. I have always used Traxxas and love their products. I used to have an old T-Maxx 2.5 when the first came out, the Nitro Vee Boat with the good ol' Pro .15 engine. As you can tell I am a Traxxas fan, now I do have a 1/5th Scale Kraken Vekta.5 with an OBR G340RC Reed Valve Stroker 9.4HP engine and a Bartalone pipe. That is one thing I wish Traxxas would get into, 5th scale. Traxxas make a darn 5th scale 4x4 rig with a 32cc or larger Gas engine to compete with the Kraken Vekta.5 and the Losi 5ive-T. I would be the first to order it.

I’ve had mine for years, easy to maintain & really does do 160kph (100mph) with the optional pinion gear & unlock the ESC.
We now need a new Version 2, X-01 8s or call it the X-02?

Sal Napoli So why do you want them to make an off-road one that will be well over $1000? If you haven't bought a car yet I would get a slash or a brushless Duratrax Evader, I've had mine for a couple months and used and abused the heck out of it and it still runs great

To be honest, I have seen this video over ten times and know that this car is just... too awesome! Apparently the car CAN go 100mph+ and has a very far away advanced radio system so it can be controlled by a very strong signal remote from very VERY far away.

Traxxas please make a couple bodies for this car! Maybe a Corvette Z06 and 2017 GT-350 Mustang body. Way more X0-1's would be flying off the shelf.
