Watching Tilde play really showed me how flashy and badass Falco combos can be, especially with him piloting the character. I have always been a Megaman fan (because of former Megaman main Kamene) so Peabnut popping off was also very welcome. The lack of (cringe) dlc was also very nice. Despite the lack of top 10-20 players, this tournament was very entertaining, more so than some of the larger one's for me.

Also, none of the entrants in the tour have ever won a major. Barnard loop even said that riptide broke tts as it was such an outlier. Is it a Mickey mouse tourney.... No, but it isn't rly a major.

That's because it takes like 4 hours to drive from one to other the traffic through DC is soo bad. I've hit locals in both states and they might look close on a map but it is deceptive.

I feel really bad being that guy, but for me it's really hard for me to care about a major win if basically no top 10 talent is in attendance. Not that I want to devalue Tilde or any of the other fantastic competitors and their achievement, but I'm hungry for them to turn up at a major with the likes of Leo, Tweek, acola, Cosmos, Light, Kola, etc, and show us all what they can really do.

The quicker you are to opening your mind and accepting that, "hey, my moral standards or in this case my smash morals don't actually work out for me and maybe I have to adapt and change things up" the more you'll grow. Clearly, everyone who beats Tilde by playing slow knows that, maybe it's time for him to learn that too. Yes... play how you want to play the game to the best of your abilities... NEVER change JUST to win. But the moment youre confronted with facts about reality that conflict with your worldview get the fuck over it and change with those facts, and dont get mad at other people who understand that before you do.
