Hi Gagan , Myself from hyderabad Actually i booked Baleno Zeta (P) on oct 14th. I loved everything in the car, but after booking now when i m travelling here and there in the city i found most of the balenos with a dents or Bumpers bents or dump or in squeeze ins on the exterior indicating the weak structural strength. Apart from this i found most of the car's color getting faded or dull almost all colors which are hardly just an year or a half old. My Use mostly is for adventurous trips, weekend drives and long drives and some occasional rounds ups around the city for some parties get togethers, dinners movies etc., and my biggest worry is if some biker hit my car in any traffic what would be the result. My Requirements are 1. FE of 11or + in city and 14+ on highways ,i dont rev the vehicle unless needed i usually drive at safe speeds on highways (70-110) 2. seat comfort for all the rear and front passengers 3.Safety is the main concern and very good to excellent build quality. 4.zero NVH levels Elite i20 Asta (O) or Baleno Zeta Petrol ? my monthly run would be 1000-1500(70% highway & 30%City) overall what would be difference in the cost of ownership for Elite i20 & Baleno () hoping that i would do 1500 monthly Please do Reply at the earliest Thanks alot
You gonna get good build with i20 and more features too. But baleno will return good FE and its actually a bit cheaper. In only city condition you might spend 30% on fuel if you opt i20 over Baleno.

My father paid for that car. And he did not like Honda Jazz. I feel Jazz is the most practical car and yes in small lanes i20 is easy to drive but if you compare it with swift then better be careful as it is a bit wider than Swift figo etc.

Chevrolet, even if you have a service center in vicinity , its as good as not being there. They did an overhaul of my car and one cylinder was open, if it was not for the sturdy engine, the car would have gone. Car was running on 3 cylinders
sir based on the price segment I visited the car dealers for having a look at the all new dzire and elite I 20 my family found I 20 to be more conjusted than dzire as dzire offers better space in all areas. hi Gagan, nice videos man.. as u said u hav looked upon baleno n jazz as well, wat made you to stop ur search at i20 wat r d extra features u found useful on i20 instead of baleno n jazz. baleno is also a feature rich car and jazz being the most spacious car in this segment. wat are d key features u took as an advantage on i20 over baleno, as u said in one of ur comment the mileage u r getting is 13kmpl in city (wat r d traffic conditions in ur city) wat mileage will i20 diesel give (top model, asta o) as in one of ur video in which u r describing d features of key, wen u go close to car wit d key in ur hand or pocket, the rear view mirrors gets unlock or opens up automatically, is dat same feature present in baleno. u have also made a video on MID of i20, is the range feature (how much it can run with the current fuel) and fuel efficiency feature added in dis variant (km/l) i am looking fwrd on baleno alpha diesel, i belong to agra n traffic conditions are worst and roads are as bad as hell, the avg speed wont go above 30kmph so driving i20 in city might cost me extra bucks (considering mileage and services/parts), though the interior quality is best on i20 amongst the three and i am a die heart fan of Hyundai car's interior quality. i dnt like tail light of baleno :P m currently owning a 10yrs old wagonR (petrol) and its mileage on high way is 17-18kmpl on AC and 10-11kmpl in city.
I opted for i20 as there was a long waiting for Baleno. Also, a few of things like Quality and Alloy wheels were not of my liking. Jazz could have come home but my father was not ready for Honda. I love jazz in all the aspects but same Time I agree that its not as good looking as i20. No baleno is not having that mirror unfolding feature. No i20 still does not show Distance to empty or FE on MID. I Agra you have Baleno Diesel as perfect car. Thanks.

I know tigor has 3 cylinder more noise engin, but it gives more milage than xcent. and i personally experienced that suspansion setup is far better in tigor. so what is deal breaker?

Ayan Kumar Dutta You don't even need a car really, 100 km per month is too low and not practical to invest 6 lacks. But getting a car is your dream, so you should get it. Have a look at Tigor or Tiago top models as they provide many more features than baleno sigma I drive 50 km per day btw.

2000 Km a month is high. And that too in Delhi. Baleno petrol and grand i10 petrol might be good for budget but their fuel bills will be high. If you think that a difference of 25000 a year approx will not be much, you can go with petrol and bring down the existing pollution of delhi a bit. :)

They did an overhaul of my car and one cylinder was open, if it was not for the sturdy engine, the car would have gone. Car was running on 3 cylinders

sir based on the price segment I visited the car dealers for having a look at the all new dzire and elite I 20
my family found I 20 to be more conjusted than dzire as dzire offers better space in all areas.
I,m not criticing I 20 but just asking that if you have to purchase a car now in present market options would you still choose I 20 over dzire 2017??
please also suggest me car monthly run 700 to 800 kms

wat r d extra features u found useful on i20 instead of baleno n jazz.
baleno is also a feature rich car and jazz being the most spacious car in this segment.

as in one of ur video in which u r describing d features of key, wen u go close to car wit d key in ur hand or pocket, the rear view mirrors gets unlock or opens up automatically, is dat same feature present in baleno.
u have also made a video on MID of i20, is the range feature (how much it can run with the current fuel) and fuel efficiency feature added in dis variant (km/l)
i am looking fwrd on baleno alpha diesel, i belong to agra n traffic conditions are worst and roads are as bad as hell, the avg speed wont go above 30kmph so driving i20 in city might cost me extra bucks (considering mileage and services/parts), though the interior quality is best on i20 amongst the three and i am a die heart fan of Hyundai car's interior quality.
i dnt like tail light of baleno :P
m currently owning a 10yrs old wagonR (petrol) and its mileage on high way is 17-18kmpl on AC and 10-11kmpl in city.
I opted for i20 as there was a long waiting for Baleno. Also, a few of things like Quality and Alloy wheels were not of my liking. Jazz could have come home but my father was not ready for Honda. I love jazz in all the aspects but same Time I agree that its not as good looking as i20.
No baleno is not having that mirror unfolding feature.
No i20 still does not show Distance to empty or FE on MID.
I Agra you have Baleno Diesel as perfect car.

gagan ji my budget is 7.5 to 7.75 lakh and top model of tigor offering all premium fetures like, Harman's infotainment system with revers parking camera, sensores , automatic climate control, 15 inch diamond cutting alloy etc. that is under my budget and other hand xcent offering these features (automatic climate control, 15 inch alloy) in its top verient only and on road price of this model is above 9 lakh. I know tigor has 3 cylinder more noise engin, but it gives more milage than xcent. and i personally experienced that suspansion setup is far better in tigor.

I will use it for my daily commute to office and back home with is a total of around 5.50km per day within city. Roads are quite good. Monthly total KM will be 100km/month. I have shortlisted Baleno sigma base varient petrol.
Ayan Kumar Dutta You don't even need a car really, 100 km per month is too low and not practical to invest 6 lacks. But getting a car is your dream, so you should get it. Have a look at Tigor or Tiago top models as they provide many more features than baleno sigma I drive 50 km per day btw.

2000 Km a month is high. And that too in Delhi. Baleno petrol and grand i10 petrol might be good for budget but their fuel bills will be high. If you think that a difference of 25000 a year approx will not be much, you can go with petrol and bring down the existing pollution of delhi a bit. :)
