I had to change mine cus it btoke on the drivers door, which on my car, is the only one that has a lock. Using ur video I took the handle from the back passenger side and got it fixed. Thanks again
Years are different. you need to lift the handle on 2013 while unscrewing it.. approximately 10 times, remove lock mec. Than slide handle over. Will than release.
Very helpful.... but now I'm having trouble getting it to click on.....it sets back in place but doesn't latch on....how can I find out if the back bracket is off set
So I got the handles off to replace and shut the doors and locked them. Now the handles are off and the rear door won’t open from the inside. I had this problem before, but can’t remember the solution. Anyone have ideas to get the door open so I can put the handles back on?
It's alright if you don't hear the click so long as it goes into place and still works after. It does take a bit of force to get it into place though, so don't be afraid to use a little more force. Also, check to make sure you put it in correctly and that it's not angled and there's nothing blocking it from sliding into place. It should be visible if there's something wrong. If it looks exactly as it did when you got it out, then it should be fine. If all the other door handles clicked and one didn't, I would just try redoing that one handle. Pull it out all the way and start with the whole handle out and put it back piece by piece.
Then took the Door panel off to see Why. Guess what. You can’t see Shit from that side Either. Nice looking door Handel Brõ. But it still don’t open the dang Door.

The plastic / rubber piece acts as a scuff guard for the paint, as well as a spacer, and also aids as a moisture seal.
hey do you know where I could find the rubber piece nowadays
@@jalinjenkins4155 my best idea would be at a salvage yard, or ask a body shop... they may know exactly where to order one.
