Truly amazing cheerleaders & breathtakingly beautiful to watch. Hoping & praying Makayla Noble gets better and stronger in her recovery from her injuries. The world is a more beautiful place with Makayla Noble in it.
What an amazing team wow. I grew up cheering I’m old but once a cheerleader always one!
Tough to watch this knowing 4 months later what happens.

My daughter's friend was in competitive cheer total of 15 years as a cheerleader. She's now 30 and her body is a mess and she said 3 of her team mates she still keeps in touch with all have back and joint problems it's very hard on the body.
Wow Makayla you're so amazing. Your team did really well. This looks so much fun.

I pray u see this and take the advice of the pressure matress NO BED SORES I SEEN ANOTHER GENTLEMAN SAY THIS TO U AS WELL
Not trying to sound like a know-it-all but I personally think that she has a great mattress. It looked to me like an alternating air mattress. I would be more concerned with the AFO’s and hand splints but... her family looks like they are doing an awesome job with the short amount of training.
@@ashleigh3173 but her mom and sister turn her every 2-4 hours in the night, and they wouldn’t have to do this if she had a pressurised air mattress, would they? They must be getting so fatigued.
@@madnatty it’s been my experience that even with low air loss alternating air mattress that you would still want to turn and reposition. That is to make adjustments in pressure on the other things like the splints that can cause pressure sores. Bed sores are basically tissue that get pinched not allowing oxygenated blood to reach the areas causing tissue death. Nutrition also plays a huge role in this too. I would also line the AFO’s with lambs wool. I have seen some serious wounds from these. Also moisture contributes to skin breakdown, she said she doesn’t sweat tho. It is not easy being a caregiver and thats where the term burnout or caregiver fatigue comes into play. Luckily she has two people that provide care which is very helpful for all of them. This girl is determined so not having a victim mentality is going to be her biggest asset. My response to this person was to try to bring some comfort to them because I felt that they were distressed for this girl. You also have to figure in the financial aspect of items and in case she would read this not to let that worry her about her mattress. (I’m sorry that I forgot her name before this reply) I can tell you that she has many medical professionals that know their stuff. Also the fact that she has therapy a few days a week and therapists are the best at seeing changes and monitoring for potential problems.
I have had 4 heal, have one that won't. Finally got referral to plastic surgeon
Praying can get graft @ flap. Been paralyzed since 1984, 19; MVA.SO CALLED "Friend" had Epileptic seizure. I Say that due to no visits ir calls while in hospital or rehab. Anyway got first oned when I think around 21. Bed ridden for 2-3 years. Beyond painful. Anyway Pray she never gets them. She is so tiny
