So nice to see you again an MD especially while you're enjoying yourself. Like you, I am not good on vacations. I spend the first half of the vacation winding down doing too much; too much walking, too much rushing, too much eating, basically too much of everything as of it was a competition to do it all! The second half of vacation is spent in misgivings about why I don't go on vacation more often and what the tsunami of work will be when I return. Vacations are a mixed bag, but we should all take them more often. Good to see you!
What a great Saturday morning surprise! I love a visit with Jay and Cooper(Oh my goodness what a sweet puppy🥰). Gorgeous drone shots, and really informative and entertaining narration, Jay. Many thanks.
Same in the UK, they expect us to live to work, its exhausting, when wee see the French lifestyle, its the opposite, we all need that, time to chill, relax and find the will to live again.
Beautiful shots Jay, great work as always! "roads as rough as the people"... les corses are known not the be the friendliest, and I noticed there were no mingling, in the video at least, with the locals. Would be nice to know more about them, maybe in another video...this one, at any rate, really puts Corsica as a vacation spot on my map :)
Glad to have you back Jay - been missing your vids. I respectfully have to ask though what you define as “work”. I follow several UA-camrs and honestly do not think what they do is “work”. My mother instilled in me the perspective that there are ones that work hard at labor intensive jobs be it farm workers or those that fix roads or build bridges - that’s work. I generally think that the UA-camrs are artists who showcase their work on the largest platform not for the money (that’s a byproduct) but for showing different perspectives to (hopefully) change or expand the minds and hearts of those that follow them. Unfortunately the system is very flawed and UA-cam, IG, Twitter take advantage of content creators or enticing creators to pursue it for the wrong reasons. Just my ask/thoughts but love the vid and hope to see more soon.
Creative work is work. Art is work. Your parents may not have known any working artists, and this instilled in you the idea that there are artists, and then there are people who work. Jay definitely works hard at his art, and it shows in the quality of the videos and other content he produces.
I love that you shared this vacation but I hope next time you can resist the maw a little bit and just enjoy yourself. (I know it must be almost impossible as a creator!)
Jennica already talked me into wanting to visit Corsica, you just wholly solidified it. That's beautiful! Thank you for my shot of dopamine.
It was a really nice time - I could use more chill swimming in my life haha
This was awesome. All of it, the photography, narrative, and little pup swimming to his hearts content.
Great job!
Hello from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 my friend.Glad to see a new post from you Jay.Cheers

Really enjoyed the story element from the narration, a nice change of pace in the hectic content filled world we live in.
Thanks! I enjoyed making it😊
Thanks for sharing. Now I need to become a patron so I can know the name of that roadside restaurant with the amazing views and comfy chairs.

Great video Jay. Glad you’re discovering the fine art of doing nothing-or doing puppy things with Cooper.

Every nice person we met ended up being from Brittany 😆😆
Corsica is one of the few Islands I actually enjoy visiting sailing. Sicily is another though, not like Palma...
Looking forward to the sailing version

Sardegna is also beautiful if you loved Corsica!
Gotta get there!
@@JaySwanson Go now while the weather is Perfect, tourists are scarce and prices are excellent -- recommend Southern Sardinia for phenomenal beaches

What a beautiful video -- speck and all! Now I must get to Corsica and it's all your fault somehow. ;-)
Ok love this but please clean you sensor.
Yeah, sadly only shot one day and then found out when editing that something got in there. All clean now!
