I admired Johnny Mathis since I was 7 years old and my parents bought his first record (78 rpm) released in South Africa, of "A Certain Smile". That was in 1956.
My most favourite singer .He breaks my heart and gives me such very special memories l love his gorgeous voice and have loved him for over 60 years when l saw him in Birmingham with my dear husband happy and bittersweet memories .Thank you Johnny and God Bless you.💕🥰🙏🏻
I think the gift that Johnny Mathis has when he sings is🎶 he really shows and expresses true sincerity to each song that he sings. Almost as if he has experienced every aspect of love ❤️💔 I know for me I was married for many years and my marriage failed and this song explains exactly how it happens 💔 when people stop working at it!! However Johnny Mathis whether he has experienced being in a good marriage or just like me 💔 lived through a marriage that failed either way 🕊️he's able to tell us all 💯🕊️💯what the secret ingredients are or a potion you put into your love relationship❤️ that wil make it work whatever, he sings it as if he knows the answer.✨ He is just a pure genius at every song he sings. We are so blessed to have him to sing for us and make us sometimes smile, sometimes cry, but always in the end we have to yell out the words Bravo!! Johnny Mathis never lets his audience down he's just that good 🎀🎄🎀
A Beautiful voice. A beautiful Song. A beautiful melody. What else can you ask for? I wonder if he ever stops and realizes how much joy he has brought to people all over the world. Love you Johnny. Always have and always will.
I am 50. Johnny Mathis was the first concert I went to. I must've been around 8 or 9 when he came to Hawaii to play the Neil Blaisdell Concert Hall. My parents were and still are huge Johnny Mathis fans and brought me along so I could be exposed to true talent. I remember we had front row seats and before the concert began, I turned around and scanned the audience for any kids. I think there was 1. Long story short, I loved him. He was so classy and elegant, sounded exactly like the tapes my parents played n the car as they drove me to school or out just driving around.
Johnny first seen you in Pgh. Many years ago. Have gone to many more since. You are the best. Went to Cerritos center for the Christmas show every year. May you sing forever. Mary
Thank God his father got him to the right teacher. Just think would have happened to this beautiful voice if he had been with the wrong one. He is a gift from God.
Mi abba le cantaba bailando con mi ima en el living de nuestro hogar. Que recuerdos más maravillosos. Muchas gracias por haber hecho estos videos. Eternamente agradecida. 💝💖🎶🎵💗💗🧓🔥🙅♀️🙅♀️

No one does it like our Johnny. ❤️🙏🏽 I think he’ll be singing in Heaven when our Heavenly Father takes him there ❤️🙏🏽
I saw this live when it came on in 1998. I had already seen Johnny in concert about 5 times at that point, and sat glued to my television. I tried to call in a request, but didn't get through. Of course I loved every song anyway.
As much as I love everything that Johnny sings, I love this song the most. I remember hearing it so many times at his concerts and thinking this about my marriage. Unfortunately conversation were not enough.

I have loved Johnny since I was 15. I’m 74 now. Saw him from coast to coast, even in London! It’s a shame he has never been given a Kennedy Honor!
I saw Johnny Mathis every summer at the Greek Theater. And in the 80’s at a series of concerts by the Richmond Symphony.
Thank you Johnny. We are all here, listening and watching, as we always will be.
Even when he dies, which is coming up soon.
