- This tutorial is an in-depth lesson on using oils paints over acrylic paints. Although this video is rather long, the first portion is demonstrating the acrylic under layering. The oil portion (which begins at 2hr 8mins if you wish to skip ahead) explains the supplies and techniques I use when working with oils. 12x12" Gesso Panel (Coated with two coats of Burnt Umber)
Pallet
Paper Towels
Spray bottle with water
Water Jar
Transfer Paper (or your preferred method for the sketch)

-Titanium White
-Unbleached Titanium White
-Burnt Umber
-Raw Sienna
-Burnt Sienna
-Ultramarine Blue
-Cadmium Orange
-Cadmium Yellow
-Naples Yellow
-Alizarin Crimson
-Yellow Oxide
-Yellow Ochre
Brushes:
-5/8 Flat Brush
-#2 Round
-#8 Flat Brush
#2 Angle Brush

Glass Palette works best
Odorless Mineral Spirits
Paper Towels

-Palette Knife for pre mixing paints
