LeBron is certainly behind this and wanted to draw attention away from anyone proving that he is not officially linked to the Lakers Hiring JJ Redick. If JJ truly wants to coach he should be cautious of taking the Lakers job. If LeBron was young it would be a no brainer. But this isn’t the case and this reminds me of when Steve Kerr stared in coaching. Kerr could have gone to the Knicks and coached for his mentor Phil Jackson with an older Carmelo Anthony as the star and coach Isolation basketball with the ball always in Carmelo’s hands. Instead he found the best situation with the Warriors… ultimately made his mark with coaching the small ball era and the rest is history. Be cautious JJ… Although if JJ only wants to do this short term then it is a no brainer. JJ can sign a big deal with the Lakers to work with his buddy and then retire young. LeBron and his buddy JJ just out smarted all of us… Good take Stephen A. 😀

And also how dare Lakers organization offer 11.25 million per annum to some one who is gonna be a first time headcoach in the NBA

LAL has no choice but to lose. LBJ ain’t getting younger, he wants to play with his son and the current roster qualified for the play-in. BTW, it sheds light on the meaningless in-season tournament.

I just wonder when JJ makes it with the Lakers and they have great results together, will this same person remember this "take" and give flowers to LeBron or will he pretend like he said nothing ??? Will he stay consistent with this ridiculous "take" of his or will he walk away from it ???

Last I checked Lebron is neither the owner nor the GM, he’ll he’s not even the best player in the league anymore. if THEY wanted Dan Hurley they would’ve gotten him, EVIDENTLY THEY DIDNT. This has nothing to do with Lebron. 🤦🏾‍♂️
Ppl always wanna say it’s Lebron pulling all the strings and making all the decisions, well if that’s true then that’s an obvious indication that the organization is utterly incompetent and can’t even do their own jobs since Lebron has to do it for them 🤦🏾‍♂️

you see it from the wrong point of view. its just about lebron liking jj and respect so lakers try to get him as head coach. maybe he will be good, maybe it will be zonk, but who knows. from the podcast he seems great, but on the court we dont know and its fine

Why is any of this important to even still be talking about !! All that matters is who they hire and what happens going forward!! Whatever led to where we are now is irrelevant at this point,by the way Ham was gone regardless of the podcast or not according to sources in the Lakers organization he was lazy , unprofessional and unprepared to be a head coach maybe should use the firing as a learning experience

Absolutely great take by Stephen A. 🤔 Hurley had options. Why would he change his life for the same money he will get at UConn?
That said...as a Lakers fan, the coaching choice SHOULD be Mark Jackson. But no way will that happen. Lebron doesn't want to play Defense for 48 minutes and Jackson would make him, and if Lebron doesn't play D, the rest of the players don't, except AD. That's what Darvin Ham found out and he was supposed to be a Defensive coach. "Hand Down! Man Down!"

Some of you hating on Stephen A.
    But this stinks.
If you do not have an analytical mind, you would not get it.
    1. I question - the timing.
    2. I question - the partnership.
    3. I question - the motive.
    4. I question - who is using who.
    5. I question - the overall look, considering the culture of the NBA.
Most players did not care for JJ Reddik, as a player or an analyst.
I am a great fan of JJ Reddik.
When he started this podcast with Lebron James, I decided to watch it.
They were talking real basketball plays.
    I was intrigued.
I am a basketball fan, I was interested in understanding the game more.
I commented on the unnecessary swearing, which I found unprofessional.
It took away from the quality of such a unique podcast.
I started watching the second episode with my pen and notebook in hand.
    Lebron started swearing.
I stopped the video, unsubcribed, and have never watched another episode.
I was not the only person who commented about the unnecessary swearing.
I guess there was another motive, or it was for a different audience.
That is very simple minded, when you don't have a clue who your viewers are.
