u're too cool man 😎 I recall amaaaaayzing bassist Phil "Soul" Sewell playing with Keziah Jones early nineties, grooving hard with this beauty on a Trace Elliott rig, oh man it was downright stunning !! He then had other basses, like a Thumb - also fantastic - but this Fortress MasterMan !!! After the gig I asked a roadie what's that bass and he proudly replied "it's a Warwick" (I went wtf and had him repeating it 2 or 3 times until I got it more or less right). And so I became addicted to that Warwick thing....
Bassius Sir, you are a better man than I. I would have slaughtered that drummer for his apparent ignorance, in running over my Warwick. 😲😠 lol... On another topic. I own one of these fine Warwick Fortress Masterman basses. The body is actually U.S swamp ash with AAAA Flamed Maple top. The neck is 3 piece Wenge and the fretboard is also Wenge. Not trying to be a snob, just thought you would want to know. You can go to warwick.de and enter the serial # from the headstock on the products menu and it should give you all of the specs for your bass. If not, a reference e-mail should be listed, also with instructions for retrieving the specs. #RockOn

Really cool bass, love Warwicks! Great story & Victor makes it look so easy!
This is the bass you used in that OHP & OHOHP technique demonstration video you made in 2004. I still have that video.
Hah!! Omg!! Yes it is! How fun. Thanks for sticking with me all these years.
I have a '95

Wonderful. Thank you for the info. Mine looks like solid maple. I'll investigate further.
Your welcome.
@@01frugalbassist85 On my Masterman the flame goes all the way around the edges, so it is solid maple. Not saying yours isn't though.
Which one is you? The guy playing the Gary Willis Ibanez?
Mutant Baby yeah. all my hair fell out. lol
Mutant Baby oh the gw bass is #8 teehee
That's so cool you get to jam with Victor Wooten. What did he think of the Masterman?
Mutant Baby yeah he's a good friend of mine now! he liked it and was very grateful.
