@@pyrefly7575 oh yeah, 4 years later and I'm still video game ost addicted. Also pretty sad in general that psps and psvitas will be forgotten in time, but it's always great that we got to experience these awesome games and consoles that I think still hold up

I absolutely love Final Fantasy VIII, because it brings back my childhood, when I would watch my cousin and my brother play it. I remember thinking that this theme was in 3/4, but then I found out it was actually in 5/4. Great job!!

This is how a remake is done. Keep the essence of the original without all the extras and new parts . You can never beat the original so save your so called talent for something else. Best remake ive heard.

I remember getting a PSX with FF VIII and Tekken 3 for Christmas...forgot to mention my parents about memory cards though. Great times.

This stirs up all sorts of memories. Time to replay FF8 again. I'm still hoping for a remake like 7 got after they are finished with it and then 9. Mostly 9 as that was my very first love and you can never forget those.

Don't Be Afraid was made for orchestral style covers. I usually don't like most orchestral versions or arrangements, but this is pretty damn good. Guess because that was intended feel of the original.
After all these years, this version is still so good. lol. It's like the original in my memory.
Just last night I started playing FFVIII again... Now I can't wait to replace the original ogg file with yours! Is so F*in EPIC!!!!

As great sound quality as these remakes are, I feel like a lot of them lack the impact of the originals. Some of them are better than the originals in every way but I feel like most of them, while by no means bad, are just a bit gentler sounding. This is definitely an improvement on the last version though.
I think it's the synth bass in the original that all these remakes are missing. Without it they all sound a bit flat and don't have that same punch that the original has.
You gotta do force your way again!!
