Why? When it comes down to it, it’s competitor -v- competitor, not competitor/coach -v-competitor/coach! Personally I don’t think they should have access to their coach during competitive events… they need to finally stand on their own to feet, and let Mummy/Daddy Coach go!
@simonrowe3124 I'm an athlete, and I agree with you. ofc in the competitions you feel very stressed and you may want your coach next to you to advise you and check on you and make sure you don't need anything and you are okay but honestly it can be stressful. our thoughts in that moment is enough stress. having someone next to you would add only more stress. you should rely on yourself and give it all that you have . you worked for that moment very hard now it's time to do as you learned alone. by the way I'm watching this because I stopped kick boxing and now I'm doing track and feild.

I really think their coaches need to be with them in the competition area.
