Oh my dear Lady, welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole! These guys are so talented, genuine, funny and endearing. They are the first all accapella country vocal group around that can cover all genres. The bass is Tim Foust basso profundo that has a 5 octave range, also known as the killer of sound systems. Love your reactions!
@@tonyparker9571 bah, it is a full five plus octave range. He can sing right up there with the high tenor (Austin) and gets so deep that he blows subwoofer speakers at shows.
Tim Foust the bass singer has 7 full octaves. He can lead sing in a higher range. Listen to Home Free's version of "Oh Holy Night" Tim's baritone voice starts out this magnificent version of the timeless classic holiday tune. Every instrument you hear is created by their mouths. That includes, the Jew's harp, (the boing, boing, boing sound) harmonica, and drum set.
OMGOODNESS!! I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER RIGHT NOW!! WOOHOO! You took my suggestion and I have a 10' wide smile on my face!! 😁 SO very glad you liked them, Mello! Thank you/Love you ❤️
Oh, wow! I thought you'd already experienced Home Free. Boy are you in for a fun ride with these guys. They are the best! They are the whole package: fantastic singers, but also fun loving clowns. I know there are other groups that are great, but none have quite the same combination as these overgrown boys with unbelievable gifts granted by whatever power there is over the universe.
You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
Great reaction! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas! They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Robb Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. They have recently released several new songs that you will want to check out. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!
I love seeing reactors I have watched before and like discover one of my favorite groups, Home Free. It's like grabbing a friend, shoving your phone in their face, saying, "you gotta hear this!" and seeing their reaction. It's very satisfying.

I have followed Home Free for a very long time and cannot get enough of these men..
Home Free is so good. They were on the NBC show the Sing Off and won in 2013. They are all “a cappella” so no instruments. Their beatboxer is amazing. The bass has a 5 octave range so he can sing really low but also sing up with the tenors…not kidding. They sing all genres and are all super talented. Try End of the Road, Helplessly Hoping, Die a Happy Man. Good reaction!😀
Big heart from a 45 year old guy from Iowa ❤ that's beeen a bass 2 since I was in high school. Not trying to brag, but I can sing lower then guy anytime.
This is just Tim Foust, the bass, going light. This song doesn't even begin to show his full talents and incredible 5 octave range. Pretty much, he is just fulfilling a basic role on this song... other songs, where he is front-and-center and singing in the low part of his register (he didn't even go anywhere near as low as he can on this song), it's jaw dropping.
Awesome! "Holy mother of bass!" is right. LOL! Home Free is good about sharing the lead vocals. If you want to hear more of bass Tim Foust on lead, check out his original composition, Champagne Taste (On a Beer Budget) and its follow up, Full of Cheer. This one is from a few years ago. If you want to see what they're like now, try What's Left of My Heart, also written by Tim. If you ever get the chance, see Home Free live. They're touring again and awesome in person. If a cappella was school, Pentatonix is the student council, Home Free is out in the parking lot hosting a tailgate party, and VoicePlay are the theater geeks.
