Ok, you know that I am a Dear, without question, but Home Free is awesome, ridiculously talented and diverse. So please do me a favor, if you want something completely different from this from them, Butts Medley, you will laugh so much. They are sooo diverse, and yes I am a music snob😂 I am attaching it, definitely don’t box them into one genre.

Welcome to the rabbit hole. Adam Rupp is the main beat boxer (guy who does nomonica). He has a drum kit in his throat (that's just opinion). The lead singer on this one was Austin Brown. He's the High Tenor. The guy with the big beard is Rob Lundquist. He's a tenor with a great pitch. The bass is Tim Foust. He has a 5 octave range and you're doomed with him. The other guy (bearded who did the jaw harp / diggerydoo type sounds among others) is Chance (Adam Chance). He has a 4 octave range. He sings bass when Tim is singing. They all do some beat boxing. Austin, by way of example, does the nominica on Fishin in the Dark / Boondocks mashup. Their most recent cover is a Ray Stevens song "The Mississippi Squirrel Revival" but you may also want "Brothers in Arms", "When a Man Loves a Woman", "Ain't Goin Down Till the Sun Comes Up", "Listen to the Music" or "The Butts Remix" or any of their original music. They're quite good (to the point where Diana Ross, Queen Supreme herself, had them performing at a milestone birthday (and they had to redeye it from the east coast after a transpacific flight from their concert tour in Australia to do it). Yeah, when Diana Ross calls you pretty much come. They've performed with the late great Kenny Rogers (Children Go Where I Send Thee), Don McLean (American Pie), The Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama, Billy Gillman and so many others. They've opened for Reba, helped out Pam Tillis when her bus broke down while performing at the same show. I mean they're just good people. They actually trade off lead a lot. There is no one person doing it all.

The group started in 2001 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp
They are the only country A Capella ( all vocals no instruments)group but they can honestly sing any genre and they do
They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 that's where they became very popular.
Fans of Home Free are known as Home Fries and are very loyal to the guys.
Adam Rupp: Beatboxer Extraordinaire -Tenor can make any sound imaginable (A whole drum kit, harmonicia (his Nomonica we call it )plane flyovers, trains, castanets, bugs ,birds etc).
    Co founder from Mankato Minnesota.
Rob Lundquist :Lead tenor(beard and glasses) very soulful voice from Minneapolis,Minnesota
Tim Foust :Bass (had long dark hair now short with grey ) 5+ octave range can go so low he blows speakers or sky high from Nederland,Texas
Austin.Brown:High Tenor ( Long wavy hair ) voice of an angel from Tifton Georgia.
Adam Chance(Aka Chance):Baritone/Bass deep, rich voice(Does the juice harp in Man Of Constant Sorrow) has short dark hair short beard from Baldwin County,Alabama.Replaced Chris Rupp ( Adams Brother and co founder)in 2016
There is no lead singer they each sing the song ( except Adam the beatboxer) to see who’s voice or voices suits it the best. Adam can sing but he prefers beatboxing to hear him sing listen to How Great Thou Art or ua-cam.com/video/Sm1xhYZiSrM/v-deo.html
They have collaborated with many great singers and legends
    Don McLean:American Pie
    Oak Ridge Boys:Elvira
Kenny Rodgers:Children Go Where I Send Thee
    Billy Gilman:One Voice
    Alabama:Christmas In Dixie
Lee Greenwood/ The United States Air Force Band :God Bless The USA
    Any many more.
They have a very large playlist of covers and Original songs
End of the Road: Boyz 2 Men cover
    When A Loves A Woman
    Road Sweet Road (original)
    Dive Bar Saints (Original)
    Helplessly Hoping (5 part harmony)
    Listen To The Music
    Butts Melody/ Remix ( hilarious)
Mayday(DON’T WATCH TILL YOU ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE GROUP AND THEIR RANGES )
There's not a song that you pick from their 155 + catalog that is bad I haven't found one yet.
They are just funny, down to earth, humble nice guys.Sorry for the long read

You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
Some of my favorites are "Take Me Home Country Roads", "In The Blood", "Ring Of Fire", "Blue Ain't Your Color", "How Great Thou Art", "Elvira", "Hillbilly Bone", "American Pie", "Brother In Arms", "One Man Band", "Listen To The Music", "Sea Shanty Medley" etc.

They are acapella and Rob's hair was not gelled, it was wet because it was raining the day of the shoot, but it went well with the sorrowfulness of the song too. This is a cover, but they also do originals. Wow, you have some stuff in common! The bass guy is named Tim. The main lead singer (Austin) is from south Georgia not far from Fl. and the guy in the back beside the beatboxer (Chance) was born in the panhandle of FL and grew up in southern Alabama. (He's a Dolphins fan I am too but live in Va.) All of these guys can sing lead, except beatboxer doesn't because he's beatboxing. They all have great voices.

Home Free won the. A Capella Sing-Off competition in 2013. Many first timers viewers listen to How Great Thou Art. They have 200+ videos/songs. They sing many genres not just country. The beatboxer and co-founder of the group, Adam Rupp was voted twice beatboxer of the year by his peers worldwide. Tim, the basso profundo, has a 5+ octave range, and considered one of the finest basses by his peers. Rob, with the glasses, sings Tenor 2, and Austin, the first singer is 1st tenor/lyric tenor, and has a 4 octave range. He’s noted by his peers as having a spectacular voice, particularly the technical quality of his upper range. Adam Chance, goes by Chance, is a baritone/bass with a whiskey smooth voice. He takes over he bass from Tim, when Tim is singing tenor. Other reactors will be able to give you more information, as well as other songs to listen to. There are too many to list. Here are a few: Ring of Fire, Helplessly Hoping, and some funny ones like the Butts Medley and Country Fried Pop mash-up. And, Brothers in Arms, Unchained Melody, End of the Road and so many, from the ridiculous to the sublime there are many more. Don’t listen to Mayday until you’ve learned each of the singers voices. Tim Austin and Chance also have solo channels they started during COVID quarantine. Austin did a version of Unchained Melody which I believe got over 11 millions views. And, surprise! Austin and Rob sing the opera aria; Nessun Dorma (pavorati’s most famous aria). I hope this info helps.
Reactors of Home Free attract a lot of viewers and subscribers- by the thousands and tens of thousands. One reactor I follow obtained 50,000 subscribers in the first year of their channel. Home Free has had at least 340,000,000 views.
Enjoy. I hope to subscribe and join you idown the rabbit hole of Home Free performances. ✌️🔥

This song was featured in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou". With George Clooney doing the lead. The first sound is a Jaw Harp, done by Adam Chance. If you've heard bluegrass music, it's commonly used in that forum. While they are primarily an acapella group they have done songs with instruments. They all take the lead, in various songs. Listen to "Misty Mountains" where Tim Foust (the bass) showcases his low range with Peter Hollins. Then listen to "My Maria" where Austin Brown, the lead tenor in the group teams up with Tim Foust, the bass who now shows his upper range. The beatboxer, Adam Rupp, is a champion in that genre, but shows his singing talent in "How Great Thou Art".

While there are several mainstream acapella groups out there along with Home Free (Pentatonix, VoicePlay, Voctave to name several), it takes a couple times to realize what an incredible thing you are hearing.
Good catch on the "yodel" note from Austin. You can hear more of that in their cover of "All About that Bass." Also a little vocal fry, that rasp or grit, around the same area as the yodel.
Definitely great bass and one of the best beat boxers out there. Their arrangements are incredible. If you want something different than country, try "Country-Fried Pop Medley" to get more pop, or "Butts Medley" if you like a little rap--all in the unique style of Home Free.

This song is from Brother Where art thou. Check their cover of End of The Road by Boyz II Men. They also do a cover Listen to The Music by the Doobie Brothers. Also, another is Percy Sledge's When a Man Loves a Woman. They also have originals as well ; Pieces of My Heart, Champagne Tast on A Beer Budget and Sweet Sweet Road. Love your reactions!

There are good reasons to fall down the Home Free rabbit hole: 1) you can't run out of content (there are about 150 videos, not counting the live ones and those on their individual channels, 2) Two of them are song writers and there are original songs as well as covers, 3) they sing almost every genre from gospel to goofy, and finally, 4) your subscriptions will rise exponentially by playing the acapella bands. Love from a new subscriber.

Originals - Dreamer, Love Me Like That, Understand
    Woman, Amen/Female mash-up (Dierks Bentley/Keith Urban)

    Brother - more fun

Just a quick note. Adam Rupp, is a international beat boxer champ many times. If you want to hear him, Pull up, Home Free drum solo. It's Very impressive. This song here is a cover and was used back on the 60's, I think, In the movie, Brother Where Art Thou. Think it was the Smoky Mountain Boy that sang in in the movie. Yes all the sounds come from them. Sometimes they do help other groups that might use some instruments while they sing. You will find out most of the a carpella groups. help each other from time to time, if they need a certain sound in a song. Do not lesion to Mayday until you get to know the band, a bit, for a surprise.

'Butts Medley' all about Butts and humor. 'Do You Hear What I Hear?' Christmas and amazing. '7 Bridges Road' Harmonies and country. 'Ring of Fire' an amazing cover of Johnny Cash. They cover all kinds of music. This song was in the movie 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou' but is actually well over 100 years old and its origins are unknown. Chris

This was a great reaction! This song is prolly most reactors' "first time I've ever heard of Home Free" reactions. This song was my first from them as well - about four years ago. It wasn't my cup of tea then but I've since become a Home Fry. I've seen them live three times and they put on a great show. Never any instruments unless they have a guest band or singer, or a collaboration.
I'd recommend going down the rabbit hole - we'll follow you! I'm not sure that you'll want your gf to watch When a Man Loves a Woman if you thought they were trying to steal her with Man of Constant Sorrow lol

That little hitch is actually a yodel done by Austin Brown... isn't he great with the camera?? These guys are a cappella definitely... I watched this video several times to convince myself there was no harmonica. That's our vocal percussionist extraordinare (not just a beatboxer) is Adam Rupp who cofounded the group in 2000 with his brother Chris. Chris left in 2016 and the people haven't changed since then. Rob Lundquist (your cousin with the beard) has been with them the longest. The bass is Tim Foust with a five octave plus range. They do a couple that will blow your socks off... Boyz2men End of the Road and Percy Sledge's When A Man Loves A Woman. Hope you stick with Home Free awhile... you'll be joined by droves of Home Fries (fans) on this journey down the Home Free rabbit hole. Enjoy!
