The gardens in this video are beautiful, and the stone walls remind me of New Hampshire (where I live now). I was born in Ohio but have not lived there in 30 years. I remember going to the Zoar and Hudson antique shows with my Mother (Hudson when the show was in Hudson). I have also been to Meander Hill when Jack was still living and the Pine Tree Barn. I bought a Betty Lamp and a really good old duck decoy at the Hartville Flea market, back when you could find some decent antique primitives there, probably 40 years ago, before they relocated the flea market. Ah, the memories!
Beautiful shop and garden! I sure would love to shop here! So many wonderful Prim pieces, and so well displayed, really loved this shop! Thanks for sharing!
I was in the area visiting from Canada and went there among many others you recommended! His shop was amazing and he was so nice! Loved the bath out front - my favorite piece in his garden 😍 My guess is you bought the shaker framed labels? Maybe the chair??? Looking forward to your next video!
My grandmother lived in Mylan, Ohio, and I remembered downtown. There were several antique shops which happens when towns start losing their businesses. People turn them into antique shops. I have roots in Ohio on my dad side.
Maybe the Quaker chair? Everything in this shoppe and gardens are unbelievable. So many great things, hard to decide what you should take home with you. I bet the inside of Bills house is amazing. Maybe one day we can see and enjoy it. Thanks Gabby for another great video. Happy summer
great video, beautiful gardens and i love the cats. reminds me of a old country store. i live in the country so its very relaxing. thank you for sharing with us. hope you have a great day!!!
Wonderful video! So many neat ideas! How on earth do they keep the deer out of the gardens? I mean they have to be there. Thank you, again for giving us the chance to see these places.
Always such a great time with you at the antique stores… today I found an old American 🇺🇸 flag that is quite large… I draped it over one of my corner hutch! I paid 5$ for it…. And brown USA yellow ear set of 4 for 20$ really nice shape too!!! I love it when I see something that I have been looking for… have a great weekend 🥰🌻
Definitely a shop I want to visit if just for the gardens. Love the cats. How is your fur baby Daisy? I'm thinking you either bought the chair or the bean sign/picture.
I love your tour of this shop. I wish I could have seen the price on some of the Crocks. It would be great if next time you could show how much some of them are for those of us who live in other areas of the country. I'm always curious to see what things sell for in different areas ..Thanks
It would never be right for the person doing these videos to give out prices of the merchandise in these shops. The purpose of these videos as I see it is to expose you to the beautiful treasures of the past and some of the history , not the cost . This is something that you need to do on your own and not expect the individual doing these videos to talk price when she has been allowed and trusted by owners to share the contents of their business not what they are charging for their antiques. Just know that all these items are going to vary in price from business to business depending on age , the condition, and how difficult it is to find these treasures in order to sell them.
Such lovely gardens🤩loved the cats, too. I haven't been up north in years...last time I went to the Newport Aquarium on the Levee, just over the bridge from Cincinnati and did a little drive around town. My Mom lived there as a girl. The community I live in was established in 1792,so we still have many buildings in town that have long histories. We don't have as many antique dealers as we once had here. The youth not so interested ,and our aged have gone south or live in retirement homes, they seem to downsize,I'm just guessing but that's just my opinion. There are estate sales from time to time. I purchased a home a couple of years ago and then had an illness that required many tests and a surgery. So besides placing things where I wanted them, I haven't really done what you would call decorating. I have several collections, porcelain dolls, lots of dishes, depression ware is a favorite, oil lamps a plenty, some crocks and big mixing bowls,a butter churn{which needs a dasher}looking, some old kitchen doohickeys like dippers, funnels,I have an old hand meat grinder, some flat irons.Numerous other kitchen tools and gadgets. Anywhoodles, I would like to find an old wash stand, and a bowl and pitcher,I have something in mind and will know it when I see it. I like oak,and cherry furniture. It was lovely shopping with you today. I hope you are feeling lots better, and see you soon,I hope.☺💐
Your purchase..was it the butter bean label behind the glass frame? Altho you do like hog scrapper's too. Love all the beautiful baskets and hog scrapper's, a must visit next April, as this amazing antique shop is just down the way from Seville..take care from Arizona 🌵.
We are visiting the Amish country in Ohio this summer. I’m excited to look for primitive shops in the area. Do you have any suggestions? Enjoy your channel a lot!
Because of your videos I found just in the last few months I’ve come from Canada to 3 shows. Even made it to Seville. Hope to get to some shops this summer in PA
Just a sidenote, a friend of mine, who is of a particular religious persuasion, I won’t mention the name, told me that they have to go door-to-door to drop off pamphlets. They will not knock on the door, or leave pamphlets if there is a horseshoe over the door. Turned up, it signifies the horns of a goat. And in their religious belief system, at least in my area of the Midwest, that signifies the devil. I thought that was so interesting. And, yes, I do have a horseshoe over my front door. Not because I wish to deter door-to-door, religious folks, but because I’ve always thought of it as a good luck symbol.
Honestly, I have no idea what that is for some reason I’m gonna guess you use it to stretch out cotton or linen to straighten out the material. I have no idea that’s just a guess.
Wish you would show prices on some of the small he would ship, hate to have to call and ask prices😢. Beautiful store! Wish I could shop it! So what did you buy?
This the best little antique shop I’ve ever seen. It is so thoughtfully laid out you don’t miss anything! Thank you so much!
You are so welcome!

Did you buy the flat to the wall cabinet to put your China from your parents? It is beautiful
So what did you get? What did you get? You’re keeping us in suspense!
You didn’t show the treasure you found. Why?
Notice a gun in the garden. Did anyone else see it? 🤔
Looking for a mule chest. Janice
You didn't say what you got.
I'll tell you all what I chose when I do the video from Back to Our Roots Antique Show. That be up for viewing on Sunday (if all goes as planned!)
