Loved the theatrical cold cream tin, the crock with a flower basket printed in black on it, all the unique furniture pieces, etc. I was just about drooling over those things!!!😅😁. Thank you for sharing your trip to Iowa with us!❤
So many things that I liked!! The furniture that was there wow really unique and pretty!! I love antiquing!! Thank you for sharing! Love seeing you and your mom doing things together!! ❤️😊
Oh my gosh, another great awesome video really really enjoyed it. You guys come up with some wonderful places to take us to. Thanks for getting me out of the house and inviting me along
That town is seriously impressive!! I've never seen so many stores and vendors in one place. When l saw all that pink depression glass, my heart almost stopped. I live on the other side of the US and will never be able to get to Iowa, but what a treasure. And l have next to no self restraint so it would be so dangerous!! Thanks for taking us along.
I’ve been in Walnut before. Unfortunately, not to go anticipating. This was where we would spend the night on our way to Sturgis. This was so much fun to see so many gorgeous pieces of furniture. Pristine looking condition. I also loved all of the pretty floral dishes. I can’t wait to see what you took home.
I didn't go this year, but now wish I had! I love kitchen wares even though I don't need anymore! A couple of years ago I bought some real beat-up canister set for $5, I put holes in the bottom and planted annuals in them this year, so cute! I do find the prices there are high, but sometimes you can get a good price. I do prefer Goodwill, St Vincent DePaul, etc. for the best price on vintage items.
Omg goodness that’s where our shop too. In fact, I just did a little shopping for this next video that will be coming out and I’ll show bits and pieces of those shops. Forever yesteryears another good one and also second chances lol when I was filming I was telling my mom I’m just filming nothing but dishes.
I looked up the location of this town and it’s just 45 minutes from me. I’ll be taking a drive there in the near future. I hope they make ice cream daily so we can try it.
It was fun watching but it was sad to me that you kept saying I wished I had bought this and I didn't and I wished I had bought that and I didn't and you never did show us what you bought. I like the shows where they also show what they bought in the same video. I don't know if I will catch your next video or not
I'm not sure yet. I have to get it out of the attic and then do a little research to see what it's worth. I.got the complete set back in the late 80's / early 90's.
This was such a treat, all the unique things at these vintage shops. Thank you, Melody, for taking us shopping with you.
