OMG! I’ve seen this before a few years ago, and I loved it! A few months later, I tried to find it again, but i never could, and i finally found it again!
I'm curious, what did you expect? Something more like the regular panspermia theory? Maybe just normal inorganic compounds growing into something more like DNA?
Fantastic! Very imaginative, and the graphics are scintillating! The imagination to design the graphical entities, and the work involved must be formidable. For me, who grew up with Tom and Jerry, this is almost magic! .
Beautifully done- Highly imaginative, great story especially within such a short film and stunning execution. Wow! Safe to say people will be queuing up to work with you.
It did not need the data it already knew what created life on planets that's why they went down and collected the microorganisms out of that pond and distributed into the planet
There is nothing realistic about that, life probably appeared from thunder striking in the primitive soup that made up the planet's aromospheere at this time But it is still a very beautiful video because it wasn't meant to be a scientific point about the complexe theory of abiogenesis but an artistic view of the overall concept
@@lindarichmond3199 I think based on the name of the short, pre existing life isn't a necessity for the alien "life generator" to create life. Abiogenesis is defined as the emergence of life from non living thing. So I believe the alien took the liquid from the lifeless pond, analysed the chemical constituents of the liquid and generated life based on the chemical composition of it. It's possible that the probe is following a certain algorithm based on the chemicals it find in different planets so as to generate life suitable for the conditions of that planet... But then again, that's my interpretation of the short...
This was a SMOKIN, (I did) cool film, presenting an alternate creationist theory called PANSPERMIA. Maybe when our A.I. grows up, it will do the same. Isn't fiction fun??? AWESOME film guys! I'm now a subscriber! Peace, Honest.
Francis Crick, the Nobel Prize-winning decipherer of the structure and role of DNA, recorded a story: Enrico Fermit was interested in many things, including the origin of life. He once said in a group of friends, “There are at least a hundred billion stars in the Milky Way, more or less like the Sun. Many of them are surrounded by planets, some with liquid water. Under the influence of starlight in the water, the synthesis of chemical compounds begins, and the ocean becomes a lukewarm nourishing soup. Self-reproducing structures feed on this broth. Natural selection from them creates more and more advanced, complex beings. Civilizations come to life, with them science and technology. These intelligent beings are visiting newer and newer planets, traversing the entire Milky Way. These extremely clever creatures can hardly escape the attention of a beautiful planet like Earth. But then where are they? ” To the question, Leo Szilárd, who was present, immediately answered: “Here they are among us. Their English pronunciation is a bit strange. They call themselves Hungarians
Dude, this is such an awesome and original concept. My improvement brain as a 3D Artist cant help but direct you to think about using detail maps or roughness and normal - to add that final layer of realism. Everything else was flawless though!
Mechanical design, morphing "machine/organism(s)", idea and story .. well done! I like the reproduction cycle. Maybe not to the extension to meet that one face-to-face, but still nice.
Exactly! The information in the DNA has to come from outside the Earth. But how did it get into the universe in the first place? It must have come from the outside. A plausible explanation would be the Good Old Designer.
Great question and here is another one. Where did the first matter come from that the abiogenesis proponent believes eventually came to life complete with sophisticated replication software, blueprints and complex molecular machines in place? Similar puzzle right? Every possibility seems unimaginable and impossible in the natural, which leaves a supernatural and miraculous solution. The best explanation to me among every possibility that is impossible in the natural is the supernatural explanation that somehow an original intelligent Creator being has always existed outside of time and space. Most likely this being created life on earth, though He/She may have created other beings that then created life here.
Fascinating and beautifully done. Unfortunately, "Abiogenesis" is a rather dubious name for this film....given that the creation of "life" was not from lifeless matter, but by manipulation from obviously intelligent life...which created these machines to do this astounding work.
Imagine if this dude actually made a film about real science. If ur gonna BS w/ every possible mode of transportation, at least don't forget the harpoon zipline gun. come on
who knows, maybe there are places that developed life on its own, maybe others it was seeded and over millions or billions of years it developed intelligence. It just depends on where the building blocks are and how they got there.
And something like this might be what is going on out there even now? Or maybe that's our role? To act as gardeners in a galaxy that needs only more careful tending to foster (higher forms of) life everywhere? So in answer to the eternal question about what is our purpose; maybe that's it? I guess the future will find out... John~ American Net'Zen
Bravo, merveilleux court metrage! 👍👍👍
That's what they did and they knew this Pond of water is what held the microorganisms which started life and they collected it put it into the planet and the planet became alive and they go through the universe doing that
@@mgm553 actually we get it, it's just presented in a completely impractical way for the sake of cheep entertainment. The only thing that makes sense is that it looks cool.
There was something so incredibly fulfilling in watching this. Creation instead of destruction. What a pleasant change!

Not exectly what I expected, but still pretty nice to watch

Abiogenesis is so far fetched that even sci-fi films consider it unrealistic. The absolute state of materialism.
Abiogenesis ❌
Fairytale story✅

and here i am again

Oh wow! So inventive and beautiful! I would name this film metamorphosis. You are a genius! Merry Christmas 2020!
And merry Christmas 2022! 🤗
To make it more realistic I would let it orbit around the planet, collect data then land on surface and create microorganisms instead of whole plants.
its like 5 years old lol

@@grandpretredesalpagas4665 actually abiogenesis and panspermia are actual theories of life that could work. (this video is still unrealistic tho)
This video routinely makes me cry. Always just when it's about to create the tree.
It's deeper than that, that's why u cry

This is so beautiful masterpiece
Some very creative CGI. It looks like a much more sophisticated version of a segment in the old "Mind's Eye" CGI anthology series back in the 1990s.
Anyone else get that "Björk music video" vibe from this?
Totally mind blowing!
if military budget went for nasa

Terraforming in 5 minutes who could ask for more
Wow!
What an imaginative story concept, wrapped in superior production values.
Bravo!
So, that’s where thistles come from!
Перый русский комментарий, хорошая короткометражка, стоит смотреть.
so damn beautifull. The possibility that humans might do this is enough to justify all the extinctions we cause so far
I like to think that little flare of flames was to represent the phenoix of rebirth. very interesting

It's very well done, but it's not abiogenesis.
It's abiotic engineering.
Mechanical design, morphing "machine/organism(s)", idea and story .. well done! I like the reproduction cycle. Maybe not to the extension to meet that one face-to-face, but still nice.
So actually, abiogenesis is intelligent design.
Only in this video.
Only if the machine is run by an AI
If abiogenesis happened by the alien species so how aliens are created
Infinity loop hole

Another more plausible origin is life from lifeless chemicals.
it’s Earth, from an animatic
God
je n'ai qu'un mot a dire : magnifique.
A visual and thoughful treat. Thank you.
Fun fact: in an animatic, the location was confirmed to be Earth 530 mya
this is how organic life formed😁
Life ALWAYS FINDS A WAY!!!
Intelligent design of life by aliens... one possibility.
where do alliens come from and who made them :D...

@Nidhogg seems there a few holes in your theory. I'll let our God explain that to you at His discretion.
That was fantastic. One of the very best I have watched. I want more.
Best 4 minutes of any movie ever ... period

depends on how you define life
Life of the short film has arisen from non-living computer.
Wow, that's a pity it is too short, but excellent film.
Every time you think it's done, it just gets cooler.
Splendid
Amazing Short Film
Very nice.
Big things have small beginnings
I felt reminded of this video, as i read Lord of Every Thing by Andreas Eschbach.
Clever multifuctional machine designs. !00% reusability. The plants could use some insect buddies for pollination... if they pollinate.
What a mockery on abiogenesis dogma 👍 great video
This is not abiogenesis. But it is also not God Genesis. It's alien genesis.
this is actually the theory of panspermia
glory and honor, to the Lord our God, for the wonderful world He created!
ROFLMAO...no
Superbe !
Beautiful.... truly beautiful.
No thing creat able without god. But awesome video.
This is amazing. From Kazakhstan.
There is speculation that Earth was terraformed by other another species. We may never know.

No Science but Fiction...
So it begins..
How our galaxy was seeded
Let us preserve the earth, it's much more better.
