I am currently a junior at CHS, and I remember playing this song for our spring concert my freshman year. This is one of my all-time favorite songs that we played. I have been trying for ages to find a good recording of that performance, but I was never successful. This performance of this song is what I found, and it reminded me of all the practices for this song, sitting and listening while the soloists are going ham on their instruments. My favorite part was soprano saxophone solo, also the part at the end where the rest of the baritones came in after the baritone solo and blast high notes. I just found this song fun because it challenged my chops and patience. Thank Katahj and the Texas A&M Band for reminding me of this masterpiece!
