I stopped off at the Kingsley Plantation on Fort George Island in Jacksonville the other day. Memorial Day weekend actually. Tons of history to this place. Not the good kind obviously but it's a fascinating place with most of the slave cabins still in tact that you can see. It's free to look around and I highly recommend it. For more info on The Kingsley Plantation visit www.nps.gov/ti...
    Enjoy!!!

May God judge righteously, this atrocity will never heal or be forgotten in this world.

Slaves are buried there though they will never tell you where exactly but you may have walked on top of slave graves as they are not far from the slave houses

There should have been some commentary about this tour. There was no insight on what we were seeing, other than the slave quarters.

I visited this plantation in the 60’s. Before it was cleaned up. We rode the ferry over.

Hello, I am currently working on a video on the Kingsley Plantation hauntings and was wondering if I could borrow some of your footage. I'd provide your information in both the video and description if allowed.

The last owner of the Plantation, while it was a working plantation, was a Black woman. The "white man" married a black woman. When he died, she ran the plantation. Knowing history is a good thing. Being ignorant is not
