Religious orders cannot be allowed to once again escape justice for horrific abuse in schools

The report into the scale of abuse in religious run schools is horrific.
We cannot see a repeat of past abuse scandals, where the State has let religious orders off the hook for failing to contribute to redress schemes and face justice.
Where is the legal obligation to take part in redress?
Where are the criminal convictions?
Why are these orders not being raided by gardaí?
Why are their assets not being seized
And why on earth are they still running our schools?
