- In 1978, Doors fan Mack Mckenzie knocked on Robby Krieger’s door with a demo tape in hand, hoping Robby might fulfill a dream and collaborate with him. After listening to the demo, Robby agreed and recruited friends Arthur Barrow, Vinnie Colaiuta and Don Poncher to be in a short-lived band called “Red Shift”. They cut seven tracks in the studio, had a few gigs in Los Angeles, and for unknown reasons, “Red Shift” disbanded. Forty years later, we can now enjoy this time capsule of the emerging punk scene in Los Angeles.

Been a Robby Krieger fan for almost 50 years. He always plays well. But what on Earth did he see in this loser? terrible lyrics, vocals and arrangements. wish they would just release as instrumentals with Robby's playing up in the mix. no wonder they disbanded so quickly. Sorry, that's my feeling. But the new Krieger video of him playing Sleepwalk on slide is great.
Who sings on this?
good music lousy vocals
