    Hi. I have now hakko fm 2023 tweezers. Are NP1005-b better? How much replacement tips cost?

      Note: C105 Cartridge range will be discontinued and replaced by C115

      @@JBCSolderingTools if you are discontinuing the cartriges why not allow the hobbyist community to use them for an open source micro tweezer station like KSGER did for the T12/T15. the right to repair community would love it to have a big guy helping out, big brownie points in your future. you can either be part of it or have it happen before your eyes with zero control over it..

      @@JBCSolderingTools they only work with those stations NOW, but unless you have built in DRM into the cartridges it isnt hard to drive them. the hardest part is going to be making a hand-piece.

    I need one so bad for one day for a 1980s microscribe HDD the head wires are no longer soldered on, it is 2 wires the size of a human hair.

      It is possible with good manual soldering skills and use of microscope. We can recommend JNA too, which is suitable with nano hot air station for rework of small chips such as 01005, 0201, 0402, …

    Haha too expensive. Would rather go with the Hakko FM 2023 Tweezers, very good quality and a lot cheaper than this unit.

      I need small enough tip for 01005 and smaller components, Hakko says suitable for 0201.

      Hakko tweezers dont put out enough heat at the tips to work on 01005 components. Pretty much useless.
