I think MAC Retro Matte lipstick is similar. I use it for bridal parties so they can eat and drink without worrying about it smearing. If you really press it into the lip and blot off the excess, it works like a stain
I'm new to your channel, but I'm also a chemist! I've seen the other creator before so this is a pretty cool crossover. It would be awesome if you could collab in the future! Love your videos.
OMG i worked in a pathology lab in the hospital for over a year, we used eosin (in liquid form) to dye tissue so it be easier to see under the microscope. it was weirdly fluorescent, the liquid itself was an orange-pink but it fluoresced this neon green color. we also used hematoxylin, i called it the forbidden grape juice because it was so purple.
The magic of fluorescent dyes! My mom and I are both scientists and she kept a track of different fluorescent dyes on her desk just to have a cool rainbow :)
I make cosmetics and bought some of the bromo acids and haven't had a chance to play with them yet but hopefully I will have some time tomorrow to make some color changing gloss!
Idk, he added alot more new info. How the lipstick actually worked to be permanent, explaining the bromo acid, showing old lipstick recipes and explaining different pigments. All she said was the color was from bromo acid. And the video is in not the same format. So he may have used her clip to showcase the lipstick but it's a different kind of video entirely.
“It took so much digging!” Yeah the historical costuming community is sooooooooo obscure (sarcasm). Erin (the girl in the video) has videos about this exact thing explaining it…. You know, the thing SHE made a video about?? And you didn’t even credit her or bother to figure out who she is?
someone probably just sent him the video & hes naturally inclined to do his own separate research bc thats the nature of his content as a scientist! her name is visible on the bottom right
@@doloresdaphne8541exactly, he's a cosmetic chemist so his approach to research is very different. It's a video stitch so it includes the credit. I think OP took it personally that a lot of information like Erin's industry MUA background, couldn't fit in a single minute video.
Bruh, idk why the algorithm brought me here, but you seem like you keep it real.
I love her channel; having you to follow up on the history of make up is a good complement❤

I'd love to see a video for how each makeup product started and how they made it

She explained all of this in her video, so I'm not sure exactly how much digging that took :/. So you just took her clip and recycled her content.

@@doloresdaphne8541ah yes that blurry itty bitty “credit” that only appears when her footage is actually on screen
Wow I love how that woman hid her red flags so easily
Because nothing says healthy skin like derivatives of petroleum. 🤦🤦🤦
You day this like Vaseline isn't a common product in present day
I need a good modern lippy like this lol,so far the GOAT is maybelline stay matte ink but I'm always looking for other less drying options
