This brilliant band of musicians were most probably the grandfathers of what would become the indie musical genre. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING! Wow, long time since I've heard this one. You are right, very strong song with a soothing feel. Nicely put together and arranged. This band was very underappreciated in their heyday and I was always surprised they weren't more well known.
Still going strong. Just finished a major tour for 30th anniversary of Starfish album, which produced this single.
Oh yes the church record called metropolis is a very fun listen. But this one also is a fun listen also. It's a #1 hit for them . I loved at first listen.

Yep. It’s a head-bobber alright. Really enjoyed that! Loved the moment when the bagpipes came in. Thy was the perfect reaction. And don’t even try to decipher Steve Kilby lyrics. He’s one of the few who can write great songs with purely poetic impressionist lines. Get the CD to Starfish and see the long poem on the booklet. How’s that for obscure. It’s great! And please check out their last four albums or so. brilliant!
