Try replacing the coil pack! I had the same problem on my Astra Nurburgring not too long ago. Also check the spacing on the end of your spark plugs

The only one of these I'd have is the white nurburg edition, they look pretty mint. A lot of them seem to have that poppy misfire up in the rev range though, kinda weird.
Got the misfire issue with mine but only after about an hours driving, can’t figure it out😭

It's not too shouty, although I'd prefer it without the stickers, and wheels aside (which are beautiful btw), it looks pretty standard. Love a sleeper me !!

Can defo agree with that! Red defo one of the best colours on a Vxr; also in defo not a fan of moving the exhaust to the side😥. Good vid as a whole glad to see more Vxr content on UA-cam

I had same problem with misfire over 5000rpm on full throttle, new maf sensor and back to full health. A maf can be breaking down but not enough to throw a eml but enough to upset the afr
And after fitting the new maf relearn the ecu to reset afr
Hey Mate VXR Owner you could get rid of the misfiring by changing the coil pack to Motor Krep Single Coil Ignition with VW TFSI Coils. Way more Ignition Power!

Same as mine, it was fine on stage 1 at 290bhp it went in for a stage 2 and the misfire on cylinder 2 started so I put the stage 1 back on and it stopped the misfire for a few days then it came back on wot occasionally. I've tried cleaning maf and map and now trying running redline si1 fuel system cleaner as it seems like its a starvation of air or fuel. Also iv changed coilpack and plugs. Any help would be appreciated???????
Coil pack lads mine did this last week. New spark plugs and coil pack you’ll be well away
@@kysri168 its one of those faults that could be one of many things. With mine iv changed out coilpack and plugs without any difference, I'm now running redline fuel system cleaner which stopped the extreme misfire but it still stutters sometimes going through boost on wot so yesterday I unplugged the maf and it ran beautiful so iv ordered a new maf
@@darrenmicklewright2008 that is true mate. Soon as mine went stage 2 this problem started about a week after. And then I took coil pack out spark 4 was full off oil and my heart sank 😂 but turns out when I changed oil I ain’t the best at hitting the hole so a bit spilt in to the spark plug and cause my problems lol.

If he’s not changed the MAF yet, I’d say that’ll be the cause of the misfire, they eat MAF’s like a chubby man eats McNuggets
Unplug the maf and run without and see if problem goes away. But have a obd2 to hand as it will throw a error code but will run fine

@@gary8560 be careful with iridium plugs, they are known for the tips breaking off and falling into the cylinder. You can get ngk platinum heat 8 which is for anything over 400bhp

Wouldn't you need better plugs to stop the misfire isn't that starting to happen because the spark is been blown out by the boost

what plugs? mine is stock but bosch platinum plugs caused a misfire because they aren't gapped properly, when I put the OEM ones in it ran perfect again, either that or coil pack
How is your afr when its misfiring? Is it leaning out which would be a fuel starvation , i have same problem with no fault codes live data shows misfire on cylinder 2, it tried new coilpack and plugs with no different. I've heard it could be maf, have you got the enlarged maf housing on your power?

35mpg😳 mines only stage 2 around 280-290bhp and I’m averaging 17.7mpg😂
