Incredible video Currently live in Southeast Missouri I grew up in Mississippi. Sure would love to hunt that River Bottom
If you are at Tara you better hold low! They will get down in a hurry! I used to tell clients at Willow Point don't make any sound to stop them! They wind the spring at that point, that stuff looks good on videos with unpressured deer but those deer have been bowhunted for over 25 years, they are jumpy
This year your hunting will suck if you hunt inside the levee. Up here in the North Delta, the Deer had to leave and since it was up over 6 months, most of them have established to outer Levee areas and it will take a long time for numbers to get back up. The Deer that usually come back are not. Many also died behind the Levee.
Tough time for sure!
the hunting at tara was the best we have seen in years after the flood. They did close for 1 season but that following season ( 2020 -2021 ) was magical

Small Town Hunting my cousin in a farm in onward and they have to boat in to their house. It be years before it’s back to normal. I got a camp next to energy and it’s been underwater since boy season.
So tragic what's going on in the delta right now. Many many many homes and farms and businesses under water for 8 months now. Glad the water is finally starting to go down.
It is very sad what has been happening with all the water in the south delta. Family friends have been farming in Onward for decades and this is the worst they have ever seen . I can remember hunting around Chotad my uncle had a place there always a great time . I hope the deer heard gets a chance to recover.

@@SmallTownHunting I'm sorry I thought you were a deer ranch. I hate those places. that have deer in a cage. they not even Afraid of people. hunting mature pressured bucks not easy.
