Nicely done however you will notice that the gate is now warped. The upper rail is leaning toward the street leaving an unsightly gap. There's a couple of solutions: a) install another diagonal cable going the opposite direction, and b) trim the rails and install vertical 2x4 framing, then replace the narrow diagonal braces with a single 1x6 brace.
Sorry dude cause u seem like a nice guy but that fence was in alot of trouble. Horrible mildew n dirt, i mean it was green grew mould dirty... if fixing step 1 would have been power wqsh at minimum or better yet get chemicqls... step 2 it wqs badly warped as the bottom went beyond closing n yet the top didnt get there ... that fence should be cleaned n brightened n then alot of stain since i can see from another universe its thirsty. A little proper real life maintenance without making you tube vids ... though u r photo genetic .. bottom line a HGTV star possible (for looks) but Bob Villa actual handyman not

the best solution I seen and the least work 👍
I did something like this and it made my gate worse. Thought it would be an easy fix. I got the set that comes with the metal triangle corners.
It is a great simple video and repair pointers.
Good job
Nice presentation!
The eyelets should be installed underneath and on top of the rails so they don't pull out under the tension.
So sag is fixed, but What about the warp?
😅
Mickey mouse fix. No insult. It will need adjusting all the time. But for a while it will work. Like a guitar string it loses tension and needs tuning
I think he’s lifted a weight or two. Just a hunch .
