What a beautiful and interesting piece. You play this challenging piece with much grace
As Ponce lacked serious guitar accumen and made many incoorect assumptions about the instrument in his compositions, his guitar pieces are always challenging to play. This piece is proof. It requires outstanding technique to play well, and Fillippos has it in spades. I don't know where he studied guitar, but he has developed supreme technical mastery. The arrangement is sublime from a technical standpoint and he executes it to perfection, which leads to wonderful musicality. Observe how each change of position is so well-prepared. Movements which appear sudden at the fingertips are actually the result of left arm preparation and movement through a beautifully relaxed wrist. Many players muscle through such pieces, but this performance has been prepared with extreme care and thoughfulness. Bravo.
