Don't even get me started on AP! They all look like they were styled by somebody stuck in the 70's. Very boring watches that cost tens of thousands for no real reason and 95 % of their sales are to premier league footballers which says it all!
@@amazingusername8925 Well they were indeed designed in the '70s by a legendary somebody of the watchmaking world- Gerald Genta. The PP Nautilus and IWC Ingenieur are among his many famous designs.
But yes, I agree, that AP is over reliant on the Royal Oak.

How can anybody top that? Some were making gimmicks, some were looking at their old designs and calling their new releases heritage, some were bringing us colors, some actually redesigned a bracelet. Quietly JLC kicked everybody @$$ ever in the luxury watch world. My God what an incredible machine!

This watch demonstrates the insane workmanship that JLC is capable of doing. I've always felt that JLC is somehow undervalued, especially compared to PP, AP and VC. This watch is like a statement announcing that "I can be just as good, if not better."

Amazing watch. Wonder how long it took to design it. Probably longer than Andy Warhol needed to make a soup can into art. Which one cost most?
Poor? Considering you can buy 7 Lamborghini Huracans for the price of this watch, even rich people will struggle to afford this.
Even if you were rich you’d still have a hard time getting one. Only ten made. Each one probably take 6 years to make. By hand.
You'll only end up getting buyers remorse if you could buy it LOL!

Ultimate is indeed the perfect adjective for this most beautiful Reverso. And I understand that it couldn't be any more thin than this bec. it is sublimely complex. I don't know if I will ever own a JLC watch Reverso or not. Finances have been tight. But I am happy to have bought my mother a classic monoface many years ago. She deserves the best. Anyway, thank you. Enjoyed this a lot.

I don’t have nearly enough money for a reverso. But I went to a JLC location and tried one on. The people working there were incredibly nice, and were happy to show me their watches. JLC has all my respect, and I’m sure soon my business

This Reverso is the pinnacle of haute horology the way it displays its complications and craftsmanship, JLC’s master watch makers have produced a Riverso that evokes so much emotions.
JLC is raising the bar. I am happy to see JLC stepping up their game to what they are believed capable to deliver. Keep up the good job.
This is what happens when a company lives and breathes innovation with the understanding that horological relevance is a continuous work in progress. Way too many other brands have been sitting on their laurels, riding the wave of the good ole days & past achievements to sell units. No gimmicks, trendy colors, or overdone reissues here. Just pure mechanical & technological marvel. Completely blown away by this piece. They should win every horological award for this release.

Yes, it’s the same mechanism as their previous three-faced Reverso. On that watch, the mechanism advances the perpetual calendar and moon phase at midnight, and instead of a minute repeater, it had a star chart, siderial time, and zodiac calendar.
Maybe an ignorant question, if you are playing with the watch at that precise time, what will happen to it?

Wonderful in all ways. I am stunned as to how can someone be so courageous to make a time piece like this. It's truly timeless. This has really opened new ways and possibilities in watch making. I am happy that they already started working on this project since last 6 years and didn't wait for the reverso to complete 100 years. This is the best time piece so far. Their eagerness of coming up with a time piece like this is commendable. This shows how passionate they are.
