    Any game footage of Michael Jordan shot on 16-35mm film stock needs to be preserved, properly remastered and shown to everyone. It would be a disservice to his legacy if its not. He really is a national treasure. Same goes for Michael Jackson, Ali, Prince, and many others who have changed culture forever.

      @Feezie F-Baby I totally understand everything you wrote.Being the same age as MJ I was there EVERY step of his career from H.S.It was destined for MJ to go to Chicago.If Patrick Ewing didn't promise his mom that he would stay 4yrs and get his degree guess who would've been #1 in the '84 draft? Then Akeem would've went 2nd to play with his college teammate in Portland and MJ STILL #3.He DID make a huge jump from freshman to sophomore year, but his play in the Olympics is really what propelled him to a possible #1 pick and Bobby Knight ( who coached the team) to say what he said seeing him on a everyday basis from tryouts to Olympic play.So MJ was going #3 ANYWAY, unless Bobby Knight was GM for the Rockets....NOBODY was picking MJ over Ewing or Akeem, and I guess Bowie.

      @Feezie F-Baby From the late 80"s early 90's to today much more fun for the players as far as travel is concerned.I don't know how tall you are, but try being over 6'5" and sitting on a cramped bus or car after running up and down the court for 30+ minutes in canvas sneakers.No doubt the basketball life is better than doing manual labor.Especially if you LOVE playing ( alot of players really don't love the game believe it or not). I just think comparing players by eras ( because they went through the same rules/ circumstances) is fair.Some players ( MJ, Kobe,LeBron etc) would be great in ANY era because they love the game and would play for free.But some players who are considered very good/ great would not fare as well in the 50's and 60's.

    if you have seen the last dance, you can see MJ changed his treatment with the media (as he should be), after 1993. before he became a champion , the media for the most part was doing real journalism and then he became c champion and then things happen. I read it in books too about MJ, he didn't trust the media the same after what they did to him and his family in the 1992-93 season. Mj didnt change, the way he speak clearly in the last dance but surely he guarded and isolated himself more when he came back in 1995 and beyond.

    22 people gave a Thumbs Down, why? And if you say LeBron James, why do you think that he wears number 23? And let me know when LeBron wins 2 Gold Medals, NCAA Basketball Champion, and 6 rings. MJ damn sure didn't have to go chasing any of them either. If LeBron is the King, then MJ is Genghis Khan..

    Wow...so if Dean Smith didn't persuade Michael to go into 84' draft, he would be most likely a Knick instead of Ewing!

      Blagoje Divac probably not it was still a big man era. MJ went after 2 seven footers in the 84 draft. I think if he came out in 85 Ewing is still #1 and MJ might have gone to Indiana at #2 but it’s still possible he could’ve dropped to #4 and gone to Seattle. The clippers picked Benoit Benjamin at #3 who was another 7 footer.

    • @jdubb007
      @jdubb007 4 роки тому +4

      Ewing would have still been the first pick. He was such an impactful college player I dont think there's even a question he'd have been taken first

    • @Brbos06
      @Brbos06 4 роки тому +3

      Gotta disagree with that, given that at the time big men were the corner stones of most successful franchises. Ewing probably would've still been drafted first.

    • @missayawk
      @missayawk 4 роки тому

      @@JCR1992 EXACTLY.Nobody except Bobby Knight would've chose MJ over Ewing.Big men were still the top choice over smaller players, plus Ewing had a better college career than MJ and was expected to be #1 since graduating from H.S.If Ewing didn't promise his mom ( before she died) that he would get his degree, he would've been the #1 pick in '84.Akeem would've went #2 to Portland and Chicago would've had a tough decision to make ( at that time).
