Adam out here putting in that work ....Have fun on the vacation bro, no working .
In spite of I was glad to be there. Club seats didn’t hurt 😊 and I met Miss Peggy 🎉
how's Miss Peggy??
CU is implementing a NFL approach to college football due to the Transfer Portal and rules plus recruiting early signing day etc... College Coaches with no NFL experience can't adjust. This helps Corey his staff the coaches and kids. We treating it like the pros. Y'all have to relax the more they negatively recruit against CU kids will start being curious and turn the tide expect more draft pics in December especially after the wins tallying up.
15:37 Considering Coach Prime’s positive financial impact on the university and local economy, it’s shocking to learn he still lacks adequate NIL funding to be competitive.
According to Visit Boulder, the six home games at Folsom Field in 2023 had an economic impact of ~$113.2 million on the Boulder region. The direct economic impact was ~$72.1 There’s no excuse to justify a lack of funding. CU should be more than plentiful in NIL dollars.
I don’t think those funds directly impact NIL money… I wish they did. But it seems like NIL money is predicated on collectives. Wish we could use some of the funds you mentioned
The city and businesses benefit with more fans attending but not the school. The school makes $ from ticket sales, merchandise only.
As an alum, I've followed the program for 35yrs. CU has always had financial problems. After firing Dorrell, I recall the athletic dept was $12M in the hole. Like a lot of U's, the ath dept is independent. At CU they get loans from the school to cover debts. They are always in debt. Two main reasons: 1)no big donor 2) alums don't donate as much as other schools
Of course Pac12 network was a disaster and that was a big reason.
Back in the 90s, there was no indoor practice facilities. For one of the winningest programs in the 90s, CU was the only school without indoor practices. I remember walking by the practices and they would be in the snow sometimes.
The school lost 9.9 million this year
DEONS impact is blown WAY out of proportion.....good pr

Business owners and investors have spent money and time building an infrastructure that can support the additional number of people that roll into the city to watch Buff athletes play. They’re being paid for the hospitality they extend to all fans that attend Buff home games. They are entitled to their earnings if for no other reason, they’re the people taking all the risks.
It is amazing how different (Jekyll and Hyde) Neely is with Adam versus Jake and Ryan. Neely doesn't interrupt, talk over, insult, or cut off Adam. Good Job Neely! It would be nice to see consistency of these courtesies, manners, and considerate behaviors when he is on with Jake and Ryan, IMO.
KNEELY is rude and obese and DEONS lacky
Mostly disagree. I think the difference in demeanor is the result of being 'remote' vs sitting next the person/people you're talking to.
I also believe Uncle Neely spends more time off camera socializing with Jake and Ryan so I think you're objecting to banter amongst
"friends".
ps: this isn't my profile ... if anyone knows why it was assigned to me, or how to change it please let me know.
FYI: Jake and Ryan report M-F on the “DNVR Colorado Buffaloes Podcast”
ps - great job AM & UN
