I love Low-Ki! I met him at an FOW show back in 2003-2004. I asked him if I could get a picture after the matches and we talked for a few minutes. Extremely humble and cool to chat with.

Watching Kenny Omega's interview about Low Ki was really interesting. Basically that Low Ki takes the business and himself so seriously, at times he's exactly the kick in the ass that the business needs, and at times he's just a very difficult guy to work with.

    • @ivenstorm

@@gst013 Every time I hear about Low Ki, all I can think about is that time he knocked a guy out with a wheel kick and proceeded to try and get all his moves in before finishing the match.
Ki's an idiot through and through. Shouldn't be near a wrestling ring after that stunt.
He also refused to job to Cesaro.

Low Ki has always represented what's missing in today's pro wrestling. Although he may lean toward being too snug (once in a while!), his style from Day 1 has been to be authentic w/what pro wrestling is supposed to be. NXT's figured this out, to an extent, but it's still the element missing that makes Raw and SD feel too bland and waters down its characters, e.g. Devitt in BC in NJPW vs Balor of today. I'm assuming you're talking about the "Hitman" Gimmick where he came out dressed as Agent 47. That was one of my favorite runs of his, the other being early Low-Ki days of Triple X

Great interview and such a well spoken man. Man takes his craft seriously and even when Jim cornette said that with one roll and a cartwheel kick low ki knocked his opponent clean out legimately one time or as he put "colder than a bankers heart" you know this man ain't no joke

Everything that Lowki said, seem spot on!!! I love how he described the difference between "Pro Wrestling" and "Sports Entertainment"!!! Because he is right!!! I miss Lowki in IMPACT but I understand why!!! I've never saw MLW, but if he's there, then it has to be pretty good!!!
