Glad you enjoyed the video. We had a great time on the ship. Lots of private spaces and plenty dining options. Will definitely be looking for another cruise on her.
@@TheTravellingScotsman Just arriving now or so they say - might have a week of fairly hot weather but I will believe it when I see it. I did turn off the furnace a couple weeks back and I have actually had to attach the hoses and water things so there is that - lol.
It’s just arrived here too, although haven’t had much time to enjoy it yet. Josie had surgery to replace her right knee a few weeks back, so she’s still recovering.
Great video… too bad I did not see this before we went on Azura last July. I missed a few good dining places on the ship esp those steaks. My 2nd daughter would have loved those because she is a massive steak eater, vegans might accuse me of child abuse. 😂😂😂
Thanks Michael, appreciate the comment. We took our grandson to a Brazilian Steakhouse in Edinburgh the other week. He did us proud with his little green card, waving for more rare steak 😅😂
Hello from Sydney. We have sailed on Azura twice also her sister Ventura loved both ship however they were newer then we don't do Lon hawl anymore 22hrs from Sydney to Heathrow is a challenge now so we cruise locally a short cab ride across the Bridge to the OPT perfect.
It’s a beautiful ship for sure. We went on their newest ship, Arvia just after Christmas, but we almost preferred this ship, because it felt less crowded. That flight is brutal for sure. Furthest I’ve gone is Thailand, and that’s long enough, although there are some great cruises that leave from Australia and end up back in Southampton that could be tempting. Thanks for commenting today 😀
@@TheTravellingScotsman Thank you for your reply. We have sailed many times we both worked for P&O Australia & didn't cruise for 35 yrs until 2008 and sailed on Ventura in the May we booked every year for several years since then over 40 sailings we sail on P&O Pacific Adventure to celebrate 50yrs Golden anniversary we are looking to a short winter break. You should try Cunard if you like tradition their afternoon tea in the Queens Room is fabulous.
We’re hoping to do a few more cruises this year. Josie has just had knee replacement surgery, so has a little bit of recovery to do first. It was part of the reason we started cruising, due to her mobility being decreased.
Well, you can get filter coffee after breakfast time, but you need to pay for it. There are a number of places selling Costa coffee 😁 I got an extra prawn and my wife 😂
@@TheTravellingScotsman from the optics of the consumer .. imagine having paid thousands of dollars for this epic trip but to have them be so cheap to try and save a trivial amount .. they’d be the losers for thinking that versus have the consumer having an unforgettable time and telling all their friends that they go coffee anytime for free😉. So is the glass half filled or half empty?😉. That’s what I’d be promoting if I owned a cruise line 😁
Prayers are for you my friend🙏🙏 keep well and strong
Thank you my friend. I hope you are doing well?
@@TheTravellingScotsman well as well can be Steven 🙏🙏
Great tour; loved the playhouse theatre - what a size!
The theatres are excellent Alan. They remind me of the old cinemas!

Amizing Scott 😊

We really enjoyed that ship. Really enjoyed the facilities.
wow - it really is like a small city with tons of options.
You don’t get bored, that’s for sure. There’s plenty of places to relax and hide as well. How’s BC? Has summer arrived yet?

Hey my dear. How are you? We’re doing fine. Josie is slowly recovering from surgery. Still need full time care from me, but is improving every day 😊

Instant coffee, Steven 😳. Say it isn’t so 😰
