Wow, these turned out great! Quick question-when you don’t use proofgrade wood, like the birch, which I love- do you mask it yourself or do you just use it without any masking? How do you prevent scorch marks? Thanks again for your videos, I love them!
Hi again, so, I am a jewelry designer with a line of wood, leather, and polymer clay jewelry in a local salon and boutique. I will be getting my Glowforge soon and this simple process appealed to me. I just purchased Template4me for $30 and tried to make some things using the graphics available in the program, like you did. When I export the SVG and it opens up, its horrible! It’s all wonky and wavy lines 😫. What am I doing wrong??
Some people have complained about the nodes, but I have never experienced too much of a problem. Sometimes I export as a png and then trace bitmap in inkscape. Can I ask what images you used? Maybe I can try it out myself. :)
@@LaserAndLearn thanks for your quick reply. My niece loves unicorns so I was playing around with the unicorn inside the circle with hole template that you use in this video. Please let me know how it goes if you wind up trying it and thanks so much!
Ordered program last night. New Glowforge being shipped. Can’t wait to make signs and ear rings.
Great! I love the program. Ornaments on them are huge right now too and I make those with Template4me too!
Your tutorials are great. Hope you do more soon.
Thanks so much! Plan to do more soon! Thanks for watching!
Awesome thank you!

Yes! I sand (if necessary), finish (with lacquor) and then mask myself!
@@LaserAndLearn can I ask what kind of lacquer you use?
@@mm0901 Sure! Rustoleum 2x gloss spray or Rustoleum Lacquer. I just get mine at Home Depot!
@@LaserAndLearn great, thanks!
