Dont forget people you will need to remap your engine at tuner garage after that to code out egr from engine maps so it doesnt throw a check engine and works optimal with new set up.
The remap is the key, I was chatting to a mate saying you would think there would be an electrical connector created to 'cheat' the ecu where the egr valve plugs in... does that make sense ?
The rubber stopper is to blank vaccum port on the EGR vacuum transducer. You remove vacuum hose friom the transducer and put there rubber stopper. You can also use some stick or bolt to blank by putting to vacuum hose, than no need to acces to the transducer.
Hey, I'd have a Question. What is the benefit of phisically removing the egr cooler and valve opposed to just electronically disabling the egr system in the ecu ?
I disabled electronically the egr valve 2 years ago, now after running the engine with the cooler on and the egr off, the cooler started leaking.. 160k miles on the engine, no recall on the cooler.
That’s why you physically remove it as otherwise if the cooler fails you have to replace a part that isn’t being used wasting time and money egr are useless for your engine anyway
@@alexturcin7390be careful as many n47 n57 equipped cars burned because of EGR cooler leaking into the intake through EGR valve. So it's good to remove it physically...
Is the cooling pipes going through the engine (internaly) on the same line as the one going through the EGR cooler? What I'm basicly asking is plugging the cooling a good idea? Does this block the cooling cycle half way or? Shouldn't there optimaly be a pipe going between the two plug holes, the two holes that gets plugged in this video? - Just afraid to overheat 😅
Si, ma parliamo di una riprogrammazione completa o si può spegnere anche solo con lo strumento di diagnosi? Quindi posso fare la rimozione da me e poi portarla a farla spegnere o va in recovery?
You defiantly need to bench flash the ECM otherwise it will throw errors - Malone Tuning does offer that in the USA though. Im just wondering if this will fit for the US N57 as its slightly different... (EDIT - Seller responded to me saying it does fit my US model).
It would help in any video if you actually stated the year of the car in the heading so that we don't waste our time trying to GUESS what model you are working on? The delete kit is very different for an F30 series, so this was yet another waste of my time.
@@kal_ash_nikov I took the OE code for the antifreeze which is 83192211191 and it turns out to be G11. Maybe your country or whatever has other requirements etc.

Will go egr delete in summer 2022 And dpf delete kit. Then remap. It will be better for the car, but shit for the environment lol. Plus Ilmy daily drive is motorways.

if i have egr off map, cam i delete the cooler after?
Id be putting locktite in them bolts. And some washers

Hey, I'd have a Question. What is the benefit of phisically removing the egr cooler and valve opposed to just electronically disabling the egr system in the ecu ?
No risk of the cooler it developing leaks and allowing coolant into the engine

If a reputable MOT tester sees the EGR cooler is missing ,you get a FAIL and it is recorded on the system. Risky ££££££ . VOSA do checks in our area.

I would think not because the EGR is not for recirculation & the coolant will still be in the engine. Plus, all the kits have the same plug style
My mechanic told me exactly this ....I should not block it rather loop the 2 water jackets
Ahoj hodilo ti tam nejakú chybu egr alebo niečo podobné z dpf egr a tak?

Hello, I need a kit for m47 for my 320cd 2005. Please help thank you :)
Hi, after this kit installed, does it need to be reprogramming the car, or not? Any error lights coming up?
Yes you defiantly need to bench flash the ECM - Malone Tuning does offer that in the USA.

ECU needs to bench flashed .
Does it improve the reliability ?
Definitely
Hi, did you delete DPF too?
Hi,
not yet but will do in the summer.
sebastian v Remove it as soon as possible,as you delete the egr gas is no longer recycled and the filter will get inflated very quickly

EGR deleted/off and dpf on, is it possible?
Yeah, I've ran mine like that for a year.
Do you need switch off EGR in ECU or car software in bmw f10 520d?? Or just blanked it and job done? Thanks

Will this fit a N57T Engine?
Without mapping do you get any errors?
I've an N57 car and really want to get rid.
I would be keeping the DPF though as it's needed.
Same question, no remapping to delete electronic function on the motor ECU?
No warning light on dashboard?
