It's cool. I too want to see the new Utah Hockey Club play, but I'm shocked to see $300 to $800 for a seat at next Fridays game for it was announced about 3 weeks ago they'd be making the food more affordable so everyone can enjoy. I'm baffled why the tickets are so expensive for we who live here enduring the horrible air at night should be first. It's a real bummer. :(
Cool, but the Seattle Kraken intro is on another level. It’s a shame they couldn’t stay in Phoenix and moved to a small town that will barely be able to support 2 pro sports teams. Ridiculous 🙄
You kidding right? The attendance in Arizona was pitiful and let’s face it hockey is not main stream, it does better attendance wise in smaller cities that have young hockey fans and Utah fits the bill. Seattle isn’t a big city either sports teams in fact, they’re proof that a small market could be good for sports 😂
@ Seattle isn’t a big city?? You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about. SLC is barely a medium sized city (metro pop 1.2 million) that can barely support one professional sports team. Phoenix is a very large city (metro pop 5 million). Seattle is a large city (metro pop 4 million). 🙄. Seattle is also likely to get the Sonics back next year, giving them all 4 major professional teams. You need a large population to support that … including hockey.
What do you mean barely support 2 pro teams? They are 100 percent supported! The Jazz have been in SLC for over 45 years. The Jazz currently has a 306 game sell out record. That is even despite not doing well the last few years. They also went 20 years before missing the playoffs. SLC also has Real Salt lake of the MLS which won a championship in 2009. Also, not a pro sports team but the U of U football sell out streak stands at 83 games as of now. Then the fact that SLC had another potential ownership group seeking an MLB speaks volumes and goes to show SLC and Utah can support at least two teams 3 or more if you count REAL. So your statement is ridiculous.
Easier said than done. Delta Center was built primarily for the Jazz. The only way they can get a proper multipurpose arena is with a MASSIVE remodle and expansion which is why they're trying to get the expansion they proposed at the beginning of the year.
Thank you for posting this 🥹 miss my boys but I’m really happy they’re in good hands this team is going to be amazing
That’s next level! 😮
