Standard 4-speed MT until GT6 and optional 3-speed Turbo Hydra-matic in GT7 (treated as MT in-game, though).
I wanted it to retain the MT, actually.

It's unfortunate. I think for the new Nissan Z they also chose the automatic version. Not sure why they seem to favor automatic versions now.

@@danigl3144you must be confusing pd with turn 10 because they are the ones thats lazy, if you think the physics is the same you are living under a rock, gt7 physics is far better than gt5 and gt6 and even sport, you can feel how much more life their is to the cars in gt7 and you feel much more what they are doing, and not to mention much more realistic the physics engine is campared to previous titles

GT6’s Chevelle is copy-pasted from GT4 on the PS2, and GT7 has the Chevelle fully remodeled from zero. 👌🏻

I loved using the 454 in GT6 and now I’m glued to the GT7 version!
The sample sound of the GT6 version is very similar to the dodge charger in the Bullitt movie
I love the GT6 (GT4) version with the authentic Firestone white Letter Tires. Since GT Sport that detail is missing. I hate that i cant't buy or choose the original Paint and Livery for the classic cars. if i'm lucky maybe i can buy one within 2 years in Color Gobi Beige.
GT6 would look better without that square under the car, can only think to be ambient occlusion.
Why the tail lights in gt7 doesn't glow like gt6?

The intense brightness from the sun drowning out the brightness of the taillights is more realistic.

as a forza player, i find weird that on old forza motorsport they primary design better the car models (also now), instead on gt6 the track seems pretty good but the car model seems old
GT6 uses PS2 models, PS3 GT games reused old models for cars they couldn't get new models for.

It is incredible that there is such a small difference. 9 years have passed and there is almost no graphical difference between them.
@RuvTaker There isnt going to be much difference unless something drastic happens. Textures and draw distance improved.
GT7 aren't like Forza where they just throw in extra stuff to make it look nicer.
Respect polyphony for the authentic lifelike feel.

Audio in GT6 is more realistic but not so good quality while in GT7 theres a certain sound effect that sounds the same on all cars and i hate it...btw nothing will ever beat the sound from NFS Carbon/Pro Street

The sounds from the old NFS games are awesome but sadly not very realistic, also there was a problem with 5 different cars sharing the same exact sound, and cars having sounds that were made for other cars

The road and the sand immediately off track looks great on 6 from certain angles. I'm actually surprised how real it looks at times
@@Sunay_galoi would have to disagree on that one gt7 has better textures higher quality overall and when you look at the chevelle in both games you relise how bad gt6 one looks campared to gt7
