They do come in handy, Just make sure with any water fill valve that you shut it off periodically… That way you know if you have a leak or not. Add a water constantly to a pond because of a leak will not help you balance out your system… Thanks for commenting and watching our videos
I have Aquascape's compact water fill value but it's worn out and won't turn off. So I got a replacement. Can a disabled senior (also new to ponds) do this replacement myself? I couldn't loosen the value from the inside. But now I see I have to dig down into the pea gravel to get to the outside connection locations for this value and the supply line. Other than wrapping the threading with plumbers tape is there anything else I need to know? Apart from the obvious, turn off the water. I would really appreciate your help and advice. Including a list of tools for the project. I'm fairly handy so I think this is something I can manage. I would just really appreciate your guidelines and instructions. 💦💧
