The limited edition Joe Bonamassa 1962 ES-335 represents the finest Epiphone has to offer, and it's a stellar guitar from top to bottom. Based on Bonamassa's very own '62 Gibson ES-335, this axe is dripping with old-school charm, making it a great choice for anyone seeking a great, vintage-inspired semi-hollow.
Players will love this guitar from the moment they pick it up, courtesy of its rounded "C" shaped mahogany neck that fits the hand like a glove. Whether you're playing chunky rhythm riffs or blistering solos, you'll find that its Indian laurel fingerboard has a wonderfully smooth feel that accommodates a wide range of styles. Not only does this guitar play great, but its Gibson BurstBucker pickups give it a rich sound with tight lows, punchy mids, and bright, snarling highs. And thanks to its CTS pots and Malory capacitors, this ES-335 delivers a clear, clean, and consistent sound.

I was on the fence with this guitar. Lots of people saying they didn't like the price. Compared to a Gibson ES 335, it's pretty inexpensive. But it is still kinda pricey. I have played the Epiphone ES 335's, I just didn't care for the tone and feel. I have played Epiphone Casino's and Sheraton's. Just didn't care for the tone. I am a big Gretsch guitar guy. I love the tones of a semi hollow body. I played this guitar and it was awesome. I bought one and it has turned out to be one of my favorite guitars to play. I play through a VOX AC 15, and it sounds incredible! It did need a set up and had to clean up the fret ends...but man...this guitar rocks!! The tone and playability is fantastic!! The only thing I am having problems with it that the tremolo gets in the way of the pickup toggle switch. Minor personal thang!! It really is a great guitar. Feels great, plays great and sounds awesome!! If you look at all the reviews, almost everyone who has purchased one, really, really likes it! Pricey?...yes...Worth the money? In my opinion, definitely!! Especially if compared to a Gibson ES 335, and way better than the other Epiphone 335's. And as an added bonus, it looks really cool too!
That would make a phenomenal jazz guitar!
I bought one, one of the sweetest axes I have ever picked up, and this thing is so beautiful!
I got one recently, it absolutely competes with my much pricier Gibson ES-335 Traditional in quality and tone…and it stays in tune better! It just feels good to play and it’s pretty easy on the eyes :) Great playing as usual! ✌️
i noticed the same thing my 62 335 epi bonnamasa stays in tune much better than my gibson's and sounds just as wicked
@@donthewatcher8835 Yeah, these burstbuckers are a perfect match for these guitars. It has amazing sustain too.
Gosh this thing sounds so damn pleasing! Killer playing of course as well
Thanks so much, Nick! Hope you're well!
I bought it expecting to just like it, but I absolutely love this guitar. It’s one of my best sounding guitars and hold it’s own with my Gibsons. Looks, feel, tone, this thing has it all.
butter in your hands you make that excellent guitar sound so good, i got one for$1100
my third bonomassa with burstbuckers
The best clean tones I've heard on all the reviews I've seen
Thanks for you kind words! :)
