@@mechemoy Normies asked a question. @Laxhoop answered honestly. The Acolyte was in fact cancelled and we aren't getting a second season. They weren't interested in any characters so they said so. I don't see an issue. I unfortunately agree and I'm not really invested in any of the characters. I'm not triggered, I am however sad that I didn't enjoy the show. I don't want to not like something from this franchise I love. I want it to succeed. I'm not going to be dishonest about my opinions either. If you liked the show that's great and I'm kind of jealous. I still like to see others opinions and would prefer honesty so we could have a discussion.

I saw so much men mad about that scene reviewing it and crying how it’s for women and how it’s sexism this and that. I assmumed from them no women liked it. They said it was a bad scene but 😂it served its purpose 😮😊for rana.

Yup. Vernestra can turn her saber into a lightwhip. They’ve been a thing in Star Wars for a while, though they’re relatively new in canon. Uncommon among the jedi. I’m pretty sure any lightsaber can be made into one, just gotta adjust the containment field.
Knowing that you can barely see anything through that helmet makes Qimir’s fighting even more impressive.
Vernestra doesn’t actually get motion sickness in hyperspace. In the books it’s shown she gets visions in the force, and it makes her uncomfortable.
Jedi can actually remain padawans into adulthood. Obi-Wan was still a padawan at 25 in Phantom Menace, and Anakin was 19 or 20 in EpII. So The Stranger could’ve been an adult when he was excommunicated. Rana you’re siding with him just because he’s hot, don’t pretend otherwise.

"Jedi don't kidnap children" is basically just technically true. They get to a place, which most times will be low-income, and tell the parents of the children that they'll take care of the kids, and that they'll have a good life. Are they abducting anyone? No. Do the parents have any meaningful choice in the matter? Not really.
An incredibly bad faith take from folks who just want to project evil intent onto the Jedi.
So when soccer clubs scout kids from underprivileged areas and tell the parents they’ll have a better life, the families have no meaningful choice in that situation too huh? lol the shit y’all say to cape for Disney trying to portray the Jedi as terrible people is crazy

Qimir being a dark empath and using it against others to get into their heads is the most interesting trait of his character. He begins in his most vulnerable state and throughout the episode implies that Osha has all the power, but is actually holding the upper hand and being in control at all the time. She unknowingly pulled the very cards he exactly wanted to play out.

Not really tho. This episode touched an unseen depth mainly in characters like Qimir, Osha and Vernestra. And the fact that Sol not being able to distinguish the two girls from each other, a detail to come from the next episide.
Ok so now that you all saw this episode now you're starting to get a little few peaks into why so many people don't like the show It's getting kind of confusing and you can tell even in your discussions after the episode what are the motivations? Why are people changing their minds so quickly. Also although the pool scene is cool and he's a great actor Manny how is that scene appropriate for kids especially since this is Disney and when fans of the show keep saying stuff like it's just a kids show.
