Love Dr. B! Listened to his book & purchased it to have ‘notes.’ Recommend it to so many ppl bec most ppl have gut issues. I stopped wasting $$ on expensive probiotics & got myself inexpensive PREbiotics. Game. Changer.

I got the audio book first and absolutely loved it. Dr Will is so genuine, and such a brilliant science communicator. I've subsequently bought both the kindle version and a hard copy of 'Fibre Fuelled' (Aussie spelling). This means I can loan it to other people, copy quotes and share them electronically, and listen over and over again to help me absorb all the science. I'm getting such an amazing education out of this.

I have see Dr Bulsiewicz speak several times and I own his book. He made reference in one presentation that he was going to include a chapter on supplements but it did not get included in the book. He offered an email address to request his information on supplements, I emailed and made the request but never heard back. Any chance you could follow up to get him back to discuss his recommendations. I do realize that he is quite clear about Probiotics and probiotics in the book. Thanks for a great interview!

Very interesting interview, so much so that midway into it I ordered the kindle version of Dr. B's book, even though I really dislike kindle books. On Italian Amazon the hardcover is about $30, a bit much.
I'm confused about something. This interview was published today, but he mentions June and summer?
Update: I returned the kindle version and ordered the hardcopy! Gotta take this book to the sofa, the armchair, the bed with me!

All those who have studied the microbiome come to same conclusion: only plant fibers and phytonutrients from whole plant foods can feed our amazing intestinal microbes to attain best health, best immunity, best brain function, best healing for almost everything.

Just listened recently to another interview with him and heard about him for the first time. So much wonderful info!!
I was wondering about his answer about the water flush thing and how it changes the microbiome.
I was thinking before that that was exactly the effect you wanted to get, but changing it for the good.
When I did it at a yoga retreat there was a very clean plant based menu after. And eveyone was recommended this very clean way of eating for the next month.
So I thought it was a chance to maybe flush out a non to optimal microbiome and start a new healthier one after with the healthy diet afterwards.

Hi guys, I'm a manual therapist with 25 years of experience. Just wanted to address the question about abdominal fascial release. The value of employing that therapeutic tool is to help the autonomic nervous system, especially the vagus nerve system, normalize. This system is completely congruent with fascia as a whole, which is ubiquitous throughout the body. The autonomic nervous system is the main actual cause of intestinal issues, as well as chronic pain and inflammation in the whole body, as well as other neurological issues. Our autonomic nervous system (ANS) also communicates with our gut microflora in a close, but not fully understood dynamic. What Will said about releasing fascia causing more scar tissue is scientifically incorrect. The only way that would happen is with enough manual pressure to cause actual tissue damage, which no therapist anywhere would ever use. Also, scar tissue is not usually the main focus of fascial release as fascia can have strain patterns that are not "set" like actual scar tissue. He seems to have a fundamental lack of understanding regarding the physiology and function of fascia. Gentle fascial release can be tremendously therapeutic, but it is certainly not a replacement for a whole food, plant based diet. Thanks for this interview, love it!

Here he said pelvic physical therapy is needed for the unrelaxed muscles to help release the bowel movement is called pelvic dyssynergia, but in a different video he mentioned pelvic therapy is needed for muscles for pelvic “dysplasia”. I would like to know how they determine the difference.
